Second time in Canyon de Chelly a charm
ROBERTL_F, Sep 2023
This was our second time to tour the canyon. Each time was different. I recommend going more than once. Our guide, Ben, was very knowledgeable. He explained petroglyphs and pictographs exceptionally well. Although we have heard many commentaries on wall art, he put many things in perspective.
An extraordinary experience!

We absolutely loved being with Ben. He had a wealth of knowledge and was a great storyteller. He really made the information come to life and gave us a good feel for the vibrant rich history of the valley. A wonderful experience!
Dusty Jeep Tour
maillinda, Sep 2023
Daniel picked us up at our hotel. The jeep was filthy. I was afraid to sit down on the seat. I realize the ride is dusty, but someone after the Jeep is turned in ,could wipe it down. The ride was rough, be prepared.
Do not miss!!!

This was a fantastic tour. Benjamin, our guide, was so knowledgeable and sharing. He truly helped bring to life the amazing story of indigenous peoples who have lived in the canyons for centuries. Highly recommended
Great photo tour

Hugo_B, Jul 2023
Bennie our tour guide was excellent he added to the stories by putting himself in it telling us about his childhood
Don’t miss this opportunity to enrich your life
JACK_O, May 2023
Benjamin was an excellent tour guide. His knowledge of the canyon’s creation was detailed & easy to follow. He brought to life the experience of living in such a unique environment. And his personal memory of actually growing up in the canyon and his family’s experience were beyond memorable. Only regret - we only took the 3 hour tour.
The most insightful tour we have taken

Hearing the description of the Navajo ways. The jeep ride is a blast. One of the most dramatic landscapes in the west.
Cancelled
Carl_B, May 2023
The tour was cancelled due to flooding Berm was breached. We are disappointed. Hopefully can reschedule.
Response from Host, May 2023
We tried our best to offer additional tour options and give the guest an opportunity to still get the chance to learn about our culture and of the early inhabitants of the canyon by visiting the overlooks and hiking a unique location called 3 Turkey Ruins. We are at the mercy of nature and can not control the water exiting the canyon. We apologize to every visitor that made the trek to Chinle and I had my guides at every location to pick up guest who may have not seen the email I sent to update visitors of the canyon’s closure. I completed full refunds and took a lost by still paying my guides for being on site to address each visitor. We are trying our very best to get the canyon back open, water has subsided and we are waiting on Navajo Nation President Buu Nygren to lift the closure. I feel your low rating is unfair as a small company such as ours relies heavily on reviews. I hope you reconsider. Thank you - Leander Staley
Go with the flow you won’t be disappointed 😁

We booked a tour into the canyon but at the time the canyon had been flooded with melt water and was closed. Our tour guide Daniel offered to give us a tour on the rim instead and we gladly agreed. Daniel showed us some really cool spots around the rim and took us on some cool hikes, he also sang a beautiful song for us. We hope to come back and take the inside tour another time and we hope we get Daniel again he was a great guide
A real Navaho experience
Kay_M, Apr 2023
Even though the water was high in the canyon they did the best they could to get us into the canyon to sere the cliff dwellings.
An adventure to remember
william_k, Apr 2023
TJ was incredibly good and extremely competent in navigating us through the high waters in the canyon. The other drivers' narratives were well done and interesting. An adventure we'll never forget!
Great Jeep tour of Canyon de Chelly
Conrad_B, Mar 2023
Our guide Lee shared personal stories of his family life in Canyon De Chelly while showing us the ancients dwellings and petroglyphs. As we explored the canyon together we learned about the Navajo Nation, their farming traditions and the meaning of this historical treasure.
Amazing tour with amazing guide!
Meredith_B, Feb 2023
TJ was an amazing guide! Unfortunately, we had to cut the tour short due to one of the kids getting sick but would go again on this tour with the same tour guide in a heartbeat!
The best way to see Canyon De Chelly
Bob_S, Nov 2022
We had a wonderful, informative, tour with Beauty Way Tours. Our guide, Lee ,is the owner of the tour company, and, as a life long resident of the area is very knowledgeable about the canyon and its history. He was raised in the culture of the Navajo and was able to provide insight into the history of the area. I highly recommend visiting Canyon de Chelly and Beauty Way Tours. This is the best way to see cliff dwellings and art up close. We drove the rim trails the afternoon before. That is very much worth doing as you get an overall view of the canyon from above, and it is stunning .
Very fun trip driving through the canyon, well worth it!
Ronald_F, Oct 2022
Enjoyed our guide Davidson. He was able to give us some Interesting cultural information about the people and the Canyon. He was sensitive to our requests and drove the Extra mile to show us ruins. The Jeep ride was very fun!
Wonderful tour of stunning Canyon de Chelly
Nancy_L, Oct 2022
Lee was a delightful and knowledgeable guide and driver. It was amazing to see the canyons from the floor - so much more stunning than driving the rim. If it’s important for you to see his relative’s house, check ahead of time - it’s not always open

We enjoyed the gorgeous scenery of the canyon and learning about the history and people who lived in the area. Daniel showed us all the rock formations that resembled animals as taught in the Indian cultures. Leander was very easy to deal with when trying to set up a time for our tour to start. He was very accommodating when last minute we wanted to change our start time. He made it all work out beautifully. I would recommend this company to do your jeep tour.
