The tour was very good. It was a small group and that make it easier in terms of time and flexibility. The guide was always nice and asking about what we want or what we need. He explain us about history of rumania in general but also in the places we were. Recommended.
Just, you have to know it is a long tour, it took for us 3.5 hr. to come back to cluj.

Andrei our guide was very knowledgeable about local history and very helpful. Sighisoara is well worth the trip, a beautiful little town but wear comfy shoes as there is a lot of walking and steps! Bran castle also stunning. A fab day out, though a long one - picked up at the hotel at 07:30 and didn't get back until 22:30.

Sighisoara is a lovely place to visit
Unfortunately Dracula’s castle has nothing to do with Dracula or vlad the impaler. the castle is not a castle, more like a fortified house, inside there is a very basic house related more to the Romanian royal family than vlad . He didn’t stay at this location at all!

Hello. Bram Stoker, writing the novel "Dracula", took direct inspiration from Bran Castle for his descriptions, so there is a direct link between the fictional character of Dracula and the castle. I am sorry Bran Castle was not up to your expectations, although it regularly features in Top 3 things to see in Romania. I hope you enjoyed the rest of the tour organised by us. Super knowledgeable and considerate guide

Cristian was absolutely amazing.
He picked us from the hotel and the car comfortably seated 3 ppl.
From the beginning, he’s very engaging.
He started by introducing the city a little to us and answering any questions we had.
Then he continued to talk about the Clouj area - he’s super knowledgeable about the area because he has a degree in geography and tourism.
What really made me think he’s a great guide is he was able to talk to things we pass by on the highway and give us a history lesson on Romania.
His knowledge is admirable.
When we at the castle, he also offered to let us walk around to check out souvenirs while he waited in line. It was 29C and he was offering to do that for us.
There’s not a dull moment when in the car with him. Absolutely a treat.

I would recommend doing this tour! It's an all day tour from about 8 in the morning until 10 at night. A local guide picked me up in his car right from the front of my hotel in the center of Cluj-Napoca. We drove about 4 hours through the countryside and he explained some Romanian history as we drove. We arrived at the Bran Castle village, had lunch at a nice restaurant, and then toured the castle. After the castle, we drove to the village of Sighisoara and the guide gave a tour of this little town (would definitely recommend visiting this village). The guide was there to explain and answer any questions all day. A good tour! I will never forget my visit to the castle or to the beautiful country of Romania.
