Bob was a lot of fun and an Excellent historian providing a lot of knowledge qbout the island both good and bad. The visit to the Hato Caves was amazing and swimming with the turtles was simply awesome. I would highly recommend this tour.

Nice trip!

Hato cave was worth to visit. It was like a world of the little mermaid. I’d recommend to go there with shoes and later change to flip flops for beach. Beach was amazing. No words could describe how beautiful it was. But there are pebbles which harms your feet, so you might need water shoes. You’ll see many fishes, therefore, you’ll need a water proof camera. Snorkelling equipment was provided but fins. Tour guide shared much knowledge about the island, I learned a lot from him.

We had bob as our driver/guide.He was very knowledgeable about the island and very friendly.He took us a different route to give us the best chance of seeing the flamingos.He told us what to expect at each location and was spot on.I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone that’s visiting this beautiful island.

This was a fabulous tour! Bob was a great guide. We were the 3rd stop out of 7 (5th on the way back) so just over 8 hours total away from our resort. The caves were great, but very hot inside. Be prepared to sweat a ton! The turtle snorkeling was amazing! Bob provided the snorkels, so we did not have to rent any. Porto Mari was ok. $3.50/person to get a lounge chair. We brought snacks so didnt buy food. The beach is very rocky, but the water is crystal clear and a beautiful view. Overall, well worth it.

Visiting the Hato cave...

Visiting the Hato cave was a great experience. Wish they went into more detail about the history, and the tour was more expansive. Swimming with the turtles was a short and rushed experience, about 15-20 minutes. Most of the time (about 2.5 hours) was spent at Porto Mari, which was nice. The tour ended with sightseeing of the flamingos. The only reason I would recommend the tour is for the history information our tour guide, Miguel, provided throughout the drive. If you rent a car you can do all these stops on your own time.

Long day, but great photo ops and history

Be prepared for a long day, especially if you're among the 1st to be picked up. My day was 10.5 hours. Irie Tours conducted the excursion and Miguel was our guide. Miguel is very knowledgeable and will definitely make you laugh. The Hato Caves were nice. 49 steps to the top was a nice workout. The history of the faces formation is cool. Playa Pikato Beach was the highlight of the day, but was too short. 30 minutes was not enough time. 46 steps coming back up, but I got up close and personal with the turtles.. There were many of them and a guy screaming not to touch them and feeding them. Lol! I got great pics and videos. The scenery and history of the island along the way was great. 2 hours at Playa Porto Mari Beach. Order your food as soon as you get there, as they take a long time to prepare it. Everyone seemed happy with what they ordered. I had the WilliBurger (goat) and it was good. There weren't many fish there, but I did see a few. If you like short stops, then you'll like this tour, but if you want to be a beach bum, book something else. Overall, I enjoyed it. We stopped at 2 spots to see the flamingos. The 1st spot only had 3, but the 2nd spot had a whole flamboyance of them.

We got to see a great deal of the island. Our travels covered the northern coast around to the southern coast and back to the resort. The caves were cool, though we have visited others that don't compare to these. We traveled to the turtle Beach, which ended up being the greatest disappointment. Beside the fact that we were left with 45 minutes to take it in, our expectation was that we would be given snorkeling gear to use. The write up on the Viator app states that this would be "provided". As such we decided to forego buying and bringing our own. We'll, provided meant that someone was there to rent it. The rushed time constraint, lack of equipment, very rocky beach (no water shoes) and predominance of fish waste used to attract the turtles really didn't match our expectations! We did, however, see a number of turtles. Next we went to another beach where we were given 2 hours. This beach was beautiful but too much sun time for us. We went by where the flamingoes usually habituate but there was only one solitary sole. Our guide made a short detour and found a couple of flocks in another location. Our tour guide was very good. Nice and informative. A lot of details need to be added and/or clarified on Viator in order to make this tour more fulfilling. If you want to see a lot of the island, this tour will do the job.

Caves were okay. Enjoyed swimming with the turtles but would have liked to spend more time there. The final stop at PortoMari beach was very nice and had facilities for showering and changing. There was also a restaurant there. Food was a little pricey but good. Overall a good day trip in Curacao.

Hato Caves was really nice and our tour guide Migel was amazing. So much knowledge about Curacao and great stories with humor. Our tour was on day when there was couple big cruise ships in harbor and that's why the beaches were too crowded.
