Our guide Johan was very knowledgeable and engaging. I learned a ton about the various vineyards and how they determined what was grown where and why. Also, the small group was fun and enjoyed downtown Beaune as well as the tastings. Couldn’t have been a better experience

Me and my family, eight of us, traveling from San Francisco, Salt Lake City, and NYC agreed to meet up in Dijon, on our way to a wedding in Florence. We decided that a Burgundy wine tour would be the perfect kick off to our journey. The venue, private van and choice of itinerary from Authentica we’re perfect. Our driver and tour guide, Thomas Tracy, tied it all together for us. From his polyglot language ability to his prior experience as an investment banker and wine merchant, he was able to give us the whole picture, from the early days of the region to now. We appreciated his humor and relatability. Everyone agreed that we had a perfect day and came away confident that we could order a good bottle Burgundy, red or white, and know what we were talking about.

Thoroughly impressed by our warm, kind, and funny guide Jeremy. Our pickup was timely, and we received a very informative insight on the history and culture of wine making from a guide who participates in producing these fine wines personally! The tasting were an education as well, demonstrating the different qualities in each of the regions wines. We would do it again!

A delightful trip to the beautiful wine country of Bourgogne. Our tour guide Romain was witty, enthusiastic and entertaining. His knowledge of the history and techniques was excellent. We enjoyed the educational aspect as well as the indigent wines we sampled. Thoroughly recommended for wine novices and afficionados alike.

Excellent tour if you want to see the highlights of Burgundy: from mustard to vineyards/wine, including all the fantastic sights surrounding the area.
It was a very well-planned tour with an extremely passionate and experienced guide tour, who was very friendly!

A perfect burgundy wine tour

Wonderful trip with our lovely host Romain. He was extremely knowledgeable about the appellations and climates, the winemaking process, and the history of the area. Truly a memorable experience that left our couples group of 4 feeling much more informed about Burgundy wine. Only regret is I would have loved a private tour for the four of us, just for passenger comfort. Thanks!

Possibly the best wine tour we’ve been on. Leonie was an incredibly knowledgeable and personable guide. The tour was a perfect mix of time in the vineyard and time in a tasting room. Great wines at both winery stops. We’ll definitely be bringing friends and family back for this tour.
