Meeting point Taino bay: we wait Outside the port after the main entrance at the right side of the taxi station outside the door about two minutes walk we wait with the company sign outside the port DSRR. Meeting point Amber cove: you will have to walk out for around 7 minutes from the port to the highway and when you get here please turn to the left side to meet us with the company sign DSRR.

This was a great adventure. Our host was fantastic! And our cameraman/guide was phenomenal! The hike was about 45 min. to get to the waterfalls. A few stops to catch your breath and grab a drink. The waterfalls and slides were worth it. Definitely worth every penny!! We highly recommend this excursion!!

this was an unbelievable value, an eight minute walk from the port to get picked up, then a personal tour, hike up to the waterfall, great photos, guides, great photos, and an all you can eat local lunch. nester and antony and lilo were just great. the photos and video were an incredible value.

The jumps from 7 waterfalls was great(3 jumps and 4 slides), the hike up wasn't too bad, just long. The guides from the national park and our tour guides from DSRR were fun and kept everyone safe and informed. A tasty lunch was included and a visit to a family cigar store with other tourist items for sale. A must do in DR, don't think just jump!

What a refreshing excursion during the hot summer! This was our favorite excursion during our time in the Dominican! We loved the free lunch too. It was authentic dominican cuisine! The company picked us up right at our hotel lobby in a nice and very large air conditioned bus. We were the only people in the group for the day and it was 5 of us. Talk about well worth the money! The hike was beautiful and we loved the souvineers we bought at the gift shop during our quick stop. I chose this excursion because of the reviews. There's only 7 waterfalls when its not rainy season and this excursion was the cheapest with the best reviews. If you're still debating on which company to go with, chose this one!

We had a wonderful adventure! Great tour and organization. Nice people and lots of fun. I would recommend to wear old clothes for sliding, because my pants broke. The tour is not for people with a fear of heights. There is only one opportunity to use stairs. You have to jump or slide down the other waterfalls (up to 10 meters high). All in all it was a great experience with great tour staff!

Had the time of our lives! Was skeptical at first as far as keeping your belongings safe but reassured all your things are 200% safe. Werebe and Antoni were absolutely the best guides through the waterfalls, which were breathtaking and a thrill rush all at the same time. They filmed and took pictures the entire time. Which you can get for only $45 and you get a TON of them. Highly recommended. After the falls we went to an authentic Dominican restaurant and got to try some of their original rum. Over all made some exciting memories and would recommend this tour to anyone.

Once we got to the National Park, we were able to use the bathroom before grabbing our life vests and helmets (I highly recommend going to the bathroom before you head out… it is a long hike). DSSR provided us with water and trust me, you’ll drink it! They do give you frequent breaks (it is about a mile of uphill climbing/ stairs before the 1st waterfall). Once there, you have the option to jump or use the ladder —- JUMP! It’s a bit scary but so worth it. After that, there are some small ones you have to slide down but at the end, you get to choose one last time… again, JUMP! The water was so refreshing! Although my husband and I didn’t purchase photos from the company, the photographer was fantastic and was basically a tour guide as well. Afterwards we were taken off site for lunch which was fantastic and you get a little rum with lunch! Then they took us a to see how cigars are made… definitely tourist trap but very cool to hear about and see the process; it’s a huge part of the culture. We made it back to port at 4:15 when the gangway goes up at 4:30 so that was stressful but we made it (: I would highly recommend this excursion and company to anyone traveling there!

This was our first shore excursion we did not book through the cruise. Every part of this excursion was top notch. The bus had Wi-Fi, which was helpful since we didn’t buy the Internet package. Lunch was good and so was the tour after lunch. They were very professional. It is our new favorite excursion. The waterfalls were absolutely amazing!! They even have someone take pictures and video of the whole waterfall experience. Rosario and his team did an outstanding job. We would definitely do this excursion again.

This is the best experience I ever had! Seriously, the tour group is well organized and gives each person so much attention. There is a well air conditioned bus that is clean and comfortable. I went with my husband and several people from the tour guide would check up on us as we hiked, then jump and slide down the water falls. The lunch was delicious and the tour guides were very entertaining and fun. The tour guides had a lot of knowledge of the country that they shared with us. This is a well organized family owned tour at its best. I really feel that the owner puts his heart in his tours and we paid extra for the photography and I had no idea he could get so many great pictures. He is very fast and takes beautiful photos well centered. I seriously want to go back to Dominican Republic just to go on their tours. They do everything they possibly can to try to ensure everyone has a great time.

Great value. We were really pleased. You are getting the same waterfall excursion as other cruise passengers (tough hike, but beautiful falls and trained guides) for a fraction of the price. Plus, the buffet lunch is fantastic and the rum flows freely on the way back to the ship. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and spoke great English - he pointed out sights all the way to and from the falls and we learned a lot about Dominican culture. They took great photos and videos the whole time we were exploring the falls, which we purchased for $45 (a fair value, and they didn’t pressure you to buy). My only criticism is that I didn’t feel that the final stop added anything - our guide took us around to show us some local agriculture but once you got to the cigars it was an obvious tourist trap. I would much rather have gone straight back.

This was my second time doing this excursion and I will probably do it the next time I visit Puerto Plata. It starts with a brief hike through the woods to the start of the first waterfall. At each waterfall you will have the choice to either jump (or slide down a natural slide if present), or climb down a rope ladder if you're afraid of jumping. From there you will serenely float (with a life jacket) to the next waterfall. It's an experience that combines the adrenaline of jumping with the relaxation of floating in beautiful waters.

Very professional and hilarious crew. They entertained us the whole way through. The waterfalls were amazing! You can jump off of 2 of them. One is about 15 feet and the other is about 20 feet. You can climb down a latter if you don’t want to jump. You also get to slide down a few of the falls. Highly recommended for friends and family. The hike is uphill but they take their time and most can do it with no issues. They took us to a delicious lunch afterwards and then to a chocolate/tobacco plantation. We were back at the port with over an hour to spare. Also, the price is well worth the experience and everything they give.
