    We covered so much of Irelands Atlantic Coast in one day. We stopped for the best fish and chips in Ireland. Learned a lot!
    Excellent Tour of Irish Countryside

    This is more than just a tour of the Cliffs - we had a full tour of the southern part of the island, including several castles and stops for views and even a visit to a chocolate factory! Our driver was phenomenal. He was so kind and willing to be flexible to our expectations and was full of great tour knowledge! And also had a very nice car and accommodations for us. Highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Ireland even for a couple of days!

    Amazing tour and worth every penny! James was so well versed in everything Ireland and a true joy to be around. He tailored the trip to our 7 year old after hearing she LOVES chocolate and took us to the best chocolate place ever. We had such an amazing first day, we booked another tour with him the following day! Thanks again James for going out of your way to make our trip special!

    Taufeek was an excellent guide. He shared so much information (knows populations of every village and city!) and showed us some real hidden treasures!

    We had an amazing trip! Our guide and driver was very friendly and knowledgeable about the various areas we traveled through. He was also very accommodating and patient when my boyfriend’s daughter felt a little car sick. We pulled over in a scenic area for some fresh air and continued on. Great experience for all!

    Great Way To See The Sights

    Our Driver Gerard Burke filled in for the scheduled driver due to a family emergency. He did a great job with lots of conversation and laughs with us. He was willing to stop anywhere we wanted and included stops at a castle and at Gus O'Connor Pub which had a great selection of very good food. Would definitely recommend them.

    My husband and I had just gotten to Dublin after wrapping up a seven day British Isle cruise. The day we spent on this tour was our favorite from the trip. We had Ken as our guide and truly felt like we spent the day driving around with a good friend. We visited each area we had originally planned on and Ken offered suggestions throughout the day for lunch, and additional stops to ensure we had the best experience possible. Even though we were on the move the whole day, it was still relaxing and we weren't rushed during stops. We had great conversations and were laughing all day. We had a wonderful time - can't say enough good things about Ken and our tour!

    We have been traveling for 18 days. We have been to Wimbledon in London 6 days touring London, the Open in Scotland, the Lake District, and this was hands down our favorite day. James was spectacular woth his wealth of information and made sure we had a wonderful time. Whatever we wanted to do he was up for. Worth every penny and would recommend it and will repeat when we come back for other tours. He gave us multiple suggestions for our next visit back and can’t wait!

    Fantastic experience. Very much worthwhile. The guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about Irish history. The cliffs of Moher are amazing. With a private tour we weren’t tied to bus schedules so we could spend as much time as we wanted at the attractions that were most interesting. Would definitely encourage others to take the tour.

    We opted to use a private driver for our journey from Dublin to see the Cliffs of Moher rather than spend the day on a crowded bus. I will give our pros and cons of our experience. Pros: Our driver, Joe, was on time, dressed professionally, and was a very safe driver. We saw some beautiful parts of Ireland outside the city. We weren’t confined to the schedule of a big bus tour. Cons: We wish we had been given an agenda of the day and the stops we would be making. Our driver was very very soft spoken and it was difficult to hear him. He didn’t do a whole lot of talking, maybe because of that. We were dropped off at a restaurant for lunch without asking us to check and see if it was a place we wanted to eat. I have food allergies. Luckily I found something I could eat and the place was indeed charming, but, again, it would have been nice to have known ahead of time where we were going. All in all, and after having read great reviews from others I think we were expecting more of an interactive tour guide, especially for the amount of money we spent. What we got was more of just a private driver. I debated about the number of stars. My husband wanted to give three stars, maybe because he is a former tour guide and has a certain standard he expects. But, in the end we got there safely, saw the cliffs and a couple of other sites, and got back safely. So I’m leaving it at four stars. Good, but room for improvement.

    James was a superb ambassador for Irish culture both then and now. Through casual banter and historical anecdotes, the 12-hour day raced by. Safe and impeccably clean, his Mercedes offered great views of the lush landscape and architecture we had hoped to see on our first trip to Ireland. So comfortable and relaxed, I was able to unwind and truly enjoy my time with my daughter. James picked great places for photos and pointed out even tiny points of interest if we mentioned them. He ensured that we tucked in all of the items on my list in perfect time--claddagh ring shop, live music, Doolin, horse farms, castles, Irish coffee, caves, Michelin star food, top golf courses, grazing sheep, and the Cliffs of Moher. Due to his own extensive travel around the world, he was adept at offering connections and suggestions for us regarding so many additional aspects beyond our day trip-restaurants, tea, tours, neighborhoods in Dublin; he even helped us arrange a last-minute Covid test at the airport. I will return with the whole family and recommend his tour and expertise to my friends. Before I book a thing, James will be my first point of contact. We will stay longer next time. There is so much to learn and see. James provides a five star experience which is completely worth the cost. Don't waste your time with anyone else.

    The best was to see a piece of Ireland. A Tour only made of our wishes in a comfortable and cosy way. When you do a Tour like this on that way you can be flexible with the weather or the stops as you want.

    My husband and I had the most amazing time with James. We were able to see so much more than on a “standard” tour. James went out of his way to make sure that our trip was memorable, personalized and perfect. Having such a knowledgeable and personable guide made our day incredible. A full day tour with James is a must do for anyone seeking a once in a lifetime experience.

    I highly recommend a private tour with James at Liberty Irish Tours. We had a limited amount of time in Ireland and wanted to make the most of our day. He tailored the day to our needs (stopping for lunch and photos at our leisure). It was a relaxing way to see the cliffs and Wild Atlantic way. He's very knowledgeable about the area. James was very responsive with communication leading up to the tour and picked up from our hotel right on time. We're looking forward to booking another tour on our next trip to Ireland!
