Pickup details

Having cleared Customs, meet your driver at the arrivals barrier in the terminal arrival hall. Drivers will hold a name board with client's name. Should you not be able to locate your driver or are delayed airside, it is your responsibility to call the emergency line before making any alternate arrangements. If Airport Transfers are not informed of delays, then driver will wait for 45 minutes from time of landing after which time your transfer voucher will no longer be valid.

What To Expect

Avoid the hassle of finding a taxi or sharing a shuttle at the start of your trip. Simply enter your details when you book, pay in advance, and then show your voucher to your driver when you land in Edinburgh.

Travel in a spacious sedan for up to three passengers or a minivan for up to eight passengers. Sit back and enjoy the ride without worrying about taxi meters or getting lost. Approximately 24-48 hours before arriving in Edinburgh, you must call the number on your voucher to reconfirm exact pickup time and place. This private Edinburgh transfer service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Should infants/children require a special car seat, this is payable direct to driver at an additional GBP10 per journey and must be requested in advance. Please note that the above may not be available in all areas at all times. Should a car seat not be available on the date of service, infants can still travel as per UK laws.

  • Luggage Restrictions: Large items such as skis, surfboards, wheelchairs (excluding foldable) & golf bags are not permitted under any circumstances. Likewise, any excessive luggage requirements of more than airline standard of 1 suitcase and one carry on per passenger should be checked with Airport Transfers at time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 3 days in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 3 full days before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 2 full days before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 2 full days before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

I was hesitant to book transportation through this company overseas, but everything was perfect. Our driver was nice, on time and the vehicle was extremely comfortable and they supplied bottled water! Highly recommend them for any of your transportation needs in Scotland.

My son and mother-in-law were traveling. And needed a ride from Edinburgh Airport to their hotel I had purchased this transfer weeks before the trip. I called to confirm that day and they reached out to my son that afternoon but when they got off the plane they couldn’t find anybody and it took about 30 minutes before they could reach anyone and finally got picked up. I was told that there would be somebody waiting for them with a sign with their name on it when they exited the plane and that was not so after 10 hour flight I didn’t want him to have to hunt around the airport with an 85-year-old woman to look for the driver. I think they need to be a little bit more organized. !!!

Was not met at the airport meet and greet area as expected. I had to call the local office who said they would have the driver meet me. 20 minutes later a women showed up and asked me to follow her. Never offered to help with my luggage. All she did was take me out to the taxi line and put me in a taxi to my hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel the driver wanted to get paid. I showed him my voucher and explained that i had pre-paid which he did not understand.

Memorable in a negative way. Driver never showed up at the location cited. After calling vendor and relocating to another place and waiting 20+ minutes the driver still did not show. A second phone call was made and again we were told to wait another 20 minutes. The driver still did not show. Angry and tired we walked to a cab stand and took a taxi to our hotel.

Horrible. Driver wasn't there even though I was in constant contact because our flight and luggage were delayed. Told us to sit in the Starbucks and wait another 45 minutes. Ended up hiring a taxi. Then argued with me about not giving me a refund. Would not recommend at all.

We prepaid for a taxi from the airport to our hotel since our flight was coming in late on Sunday night. Our flight was 30 minutes late so when we landed we called to let them know that we arrived late and that the driver should not leave. They told us to call again after we got our luggage. After we got our luggage we went to the exit to see if someone was holding a sign with our name. We did not see anyone, so we called again. Both calls were very expensive since we were on hold both times. Someone came with a sign with our name and took us to the prepaid taxi area. We waited for several minutes. There were two taxi's there. Finally, the prepaid taxi service at the airport called our driver, who was inside one of the taxi's but did come out until he was called. There were a lot of people waiting at the regular taxi stand and we thought that it was worthwhile to spend a little more money to prepay for a taxi than to wait a long time in line. There was also an airport bus service that was waiting even at that late hour. Our hotel pre-booked a taxi for us when we returned to the airport the following week. This cost us only $40 during rush hour and not the $90 we had paid for a trip without traffic when we arrived late on a Sunday night. If you want to pre-book a taxi at Edinburgh Airport, use a local taxi firm and not a worldwide service.

The driver did not show up. We were supposed to meet him outside the baggage claim/customs/ immigration. He was supposed to have my name on a sign. We waited and waited. Called the emergency number twice. Was told he was running late. We waited more. Finally found a bus going to City Centre and as we were getting on the bus he called to say he was in his car in the “ holding area.” The bus driver said he could see the “ holding area” and there were no cars there. So we took the bus, had to walk several blocks before getting a taxi to the hotel. Please refund my credit card for the service we did not receive.

The driver never showed up. He was supposed to be there at 23:50. The worst was that it was 2am and we were still at the airport, and the operator kept saying the driver was 15 mins away every 15 mins. It was a complete disaster, we ended up taking a cab.

Leo was an excellent driver! He arrived on time, was polite and respectful, was a safe driver, and helpful. We carried our luggage from the airport to his vehicle then into the hotel when we arrived there. During the trip from the airport to the hotel, we was helpful in answering our questions about things to do in Edinburgh and in Scotland. We hope that we get Leo on our next trip....or his clone!
