Our tour guide, Donald, was wonderful and very knowledgeable. The initial support personnel responsible for loading the buses communicated well and did an excellent job. The bus was clean and the trip went smoothly. We would recommend this tour to anyone.

No compassion

My wife became violently ill minutes before the tour left the meeting point. I told the tour manager we could not make the tour and we were leaving to get my wife medical treatment. I requested a refund from viator and they refused. The company’s customer care was far from compassionate. Buyer be ware.

Had a good amount of time to walk around St. Andrews, an item that my husband can now check off of his bucket list. The first stop at the fishing village was a nice start. Commentary on the bus was interesting and not too much. The only thing costing a star is that the USB charger did not work.

St. Andrews is a beautiful place to visit and I loved walking along the beach there. I also appreciated visiting Falkland, although we couldn’t visit the palace there. The group of about 53 persons was just too big, I didn’t like that - we had to wait for some people and everything took mire time than with a small group.

This trip was great! We stopped at a cute fishing marina in Anstruther and got to spend our time in St Andrews however we wanted; I chose to visit the Cathedral, the Castle, and an adorable bookstore! It was super fun!

Not a mini-bus

We understood from the advertisement it would be a mini bus not a 47 passenger large bus. The visibility from the the interior of the bus was poor except for a few. We preferred less congestion.

St Andrews Trip Experience

It was a memorable day trip, Donald the guide was quite learned, had elaborate stories to share about the queen and the kingdom, loved his subtle hum our when he exchanged the same. Fascinating experience and highly recommend.

There weren't any. The course was closed due to a tournament so we weren't allowed on it. Nobody told us prior to leaving. We would have moved to a different day.
