What To Expect

Make your way to the Ceiba Ferry Terminal to begin your day's snorkeling and city tour adventure. Check in with the host, who fills you in on the day's details. Be sure to bring a swimsuit, towel, and sun protection; it is recommended to eat a hearty breakfast to fuel you up for the day's activities ahead.

Board the ferry for the ride to Culebra, relax and enjoy the tropical scenery on the way. You are met by a guide as you disembark, then check in at the adventure center and munch some provided snacks as you complete some paperwork. Restrooms and changing areas are available onsite.

Upon arrival, hop on our bus for a guided tour of the island, starting in the town of Dewey and ending at Tamarindo beach. Next, snorkel through the calm, warm waters of the Luis Pena Marine Reserve. In the company of your guide, see impressive coral formations and schools of tropical fish before heading to shore for some snacks and refreshments. Rest a bit while your guide fills you in on the history and ecosystem of Culebra, then head back into the water to explore the seagrass beds frequented by stingrays, green and hawksbill turtles.

Continue to Flamenco Beach, where you can purchase food for lunch and relax in the sun. Your guide meets you at the Flamenco Beach parking lot for the trip back to the Culebra Ferry Terminal, after which you travel back to Ceiba.

All guests must be able to communicate in English or Spanish.
What to Wear & Bring: Cell phone (in the event that we need to contact you or you need to contact us prior to the excursion), Bathing suit (already have on), Protection from the sun - hat, sunglasses, long sleeve shirt or rash guard, biodegradable sunblock, etc., Towel and change of clothes for after the excursion, Shoes that can get wet (flip flops or water shoes are fine), Camera (recommended only if waterproof).
If you would like to take your cell phone on the excursion for photos, make sure it is waterproof or bring a waterproof bag to store it in.

Have a hearty breakfast: Places to buy lunch will Not be available until we reach Flamenco Beach Kiosks (lunch Not included - bring cash).
Bring your own lunch: We recommend to pack your lunch to maximize your beach time at Flamenco Beach and avoid standing in line to purchase at the Kiosks.

We will provide light snacks and refreshments, but feel free to bring your own.
DO NOT BRING ANY VALUABLES OR ITEMS THAT CANNOT GET WET – lost items are very hard to find in the water, and anything you take with you will get wet!
Parking: Upon arrival to the Ferry Terminal, follow the signs to the parking lot. Once you park your car you will take a shuttle to the entrance of the Ferry Terminal.
Check-In/Ferry Tickets: You will meet your Tour Guide in front of the boarding area. He/she will be holding a sign and/or wearing a red shirt that reads "Kayaking Puerto Rico" and will provide your round trip ferry tickets and share all important details for your travels.
Reminder: Kayaking Puerto Rico is not affiliated in any way to the Ceiba Ferry Terminal (The Puerto Rico Maritime Transport Authority), therefore has no control over ferry delays or cancelations.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Awesome Snorkeling + Beach

Awesome experience! Our main guide, John, was the best. Crystal clear waters, turtles and a manta ray visible. Slow-paced snorkeling and plenty of free time to explore. Nice weather too. John took underwater photos for everyone too. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing!

This was one of the coolest experiences of my life, the water was so clear, there was a lot of turtles and coral i even saw a big starfish. The guides John and the rest of the crew were very informative, professional and make the experience very enjoyable.

Don’t sit on the first level of the ferry

Seeing six sea turtles was the highlight for sure. This tour group was not very good at telling us key information but the snorkeling was great. I wish they had been more clear with where to meet and the timeline. Even more they shouldn’t allow anyone to sit on the first level of the ferry where everyone gets seasick and one person was injured so badly that we were met by paramedics. There were wasps all over where they were serving snacks, which was uncomfortable for many people.

This was the best excursion we went on! I was on the fence whether to book the option without the ferry and transportation included, but I am so glad I chose this one. Communication on where to park to get on the ferry and what time to arrive was perfect! The shuttle was great as well! Snorkeling was amazing, we saw quite a few turtles along with other ocean life. My 6yr old was able to keep up with the group. The beach afterwards was fun. Overall, I would 100% recommend this tour!

Great experience! I would recommend on the booking to bring your own lunch and lots of snacks since you don’t get home till 8pm (with ferry travel) The beach only has 2 vendors and it’s all fried food.

Worth booking!

Great communication from the moment I booked this trip! The kayak portion was cancelled but they refunded me a portion and that gave us more time snorkeling and time on the beach. Transportation and getting on the ferry was easy. Our guide Matteo was great and knowledgeable and easy going. I was hesitant on booking with all the bad reviews but was happy I did!

Great experience with Nani and Mateo. Tour worth paying for since it made our day hassle-free and we didn’t have to worry about activities, rentals, or transit. Due to weather, the kayaking was canceled. But we still got to swim over the coral reef and see fish, jellyfish, and turtles! My mom couldn’t swim and Mateo towed her along on a floatie so we were happy she got to enjoy it. They take care of you if you can’t swim. We spent some time at Flamenco beach before returning and it was absolutely beautiful.

There were not enough people for the activity so it was cancelled. I was told I would get a full refund. I got 25 percent so far. Not happy!

Absolutely Awesome Experience!

I’ve always wanted to snorkel but have been scared. I decided to do this excursion with my family because of the Sea Turtles and it was amazing. I screamed most of the way, but I was the only one lol. It was such a beautiful experience. My children are 11 and 13 and absolutely loved it. My phone didn’t work underwater so getting an email with videos and pictures from our guide was awesome. Elliot and Jon were very knowledgeable and personable. Great personalities and do their best to accommodate you. I 100% recommend this company and our your guides!

Memorable kayaking and snorkeling experience!
