Very instructive, educational and enlightening. Very helpful and friendly staff. Some unique chef-d’œuvre can be seen

Our guide was wonderful, her knowledge of the exhibits and comments were very engaging. She kept the group moving well, despite the holiday weekend.

Tour guide no one could understand her completely. She never counted to see if she had the whole group. She lost my attention right away because of the thick accent and she spoke very fast. Seeing the original DAVID was amazing.
Really I’d like to give three and a half

Our tour guide was nice and Informative but I don’t think it was a good value for the money. It was hard to hear and crowded with a big group in addition to all the others around and a short tour as well. Some interesting art but “David” is definitely the star of the show. If I did it again I’d get a skip the line and spend less
Small place for such a large man!

The museum is small. Great visit as crowds were small. Guide was good and shared a lot of interesting info on paintings .
Very knowledgeable guide brought us...

Very knowledgeable guide brought us past the lines and right into the museum. There were about 30 of us, and we were all able to hear her clearly through headsets. She gave us a lot of information about the museum, formerly a school for artists, and took us through the early instruments room, to the paintings, and of course the sculptures. The high point was Michaelangelo's David, and we were able to get up close and walk all around it while our guide explained, among other things, the perspective and the back story of the choice of marble.
Highly recommend. What an experience...

Highly recommend. What an experience! Excellent tour guide
Really good idea to skip the line...
Georgina H, Sep 2017
Really good idea to skip the line. We still had to wait a while until all tour party members turned up and then the guide had to sort out our entry, but it was much better than turning up with nothing bought in advance and having to wait for longer in huge queues. Guide extremely knowledgeable. Sometimes difficult to hear even with a headset. Next time I will buy skip the line tickets but no guide.
Great way to skip those awful lines...

Great way to skip those awful lines. Totally worth it!!
Really disappointing, tour should...
Nicola S, Jun 2017
Really disappointing, tour should have started at 10.30 but it was 11am by the time they had got their act together and we got into the gallery. The tour should have lasted for an hour but at the very beginning we were told by our guide that she would have tofinish at 11.30 so our tour only lasted 30 mins which we felt was just a waste of time as the guide seemed rushed, wouldn't recommend this one,
This is the only way to see this...

This is the only way to see this place. The regular line can be very long. Our guide really knew her stuff and made sure that we got the whole experience and not just the David sculpture. The museum is very crowded.

This tour was only one hour so we did not expect a lot but getting it was easy and organized. The guide could have been more knowledgeable on her art but she was pleasant and we felt it was money well spent.
Skipping the line was a huge benefit...

Skipping the line was a huge benefit of this tour. Fairly informative guide. We spent a few minutes in each major part of the museum. This tour is a must if you want to experience the Accademia but are short on time. I felt like we got the highlights of each room/piece without spending multiple hours reading for ourselves. This tour also has a great emphasis on David and the Prisoners exhibits, which was fantastic. Lots of nice detail about Michelangelo's techniques and inspirations. The tour also allows you to stop and spend a few minutes getting pictures of David and Prisoners the highlight of the Accademia in my opinion.
