Our Guide had a great art knowledge about the museum and other places of the city. The museum is smaller than I thought and not enjoyed so much as the visit to Uffici.

I enjoyed the entire tour. I wanted to see David, of course, but was pleasantly surprised by the display of unique and nearly priceless musical instruments. The paintings were fabulous, too! David was bigger than life and a real treat. The history is fascinating.

I booked a group tour for Dec 26, 2022. Normally group tour is for up to 12 people, but on that day it’s only my daughter and myself. Despite the small group numbers, the tour guide gave us a very professional guide with many interesting insights! Highly recommend!

The vast La Academia treasures can only be summarized well by a good guide and skip the line tour.

A little challenging to meet up with Francesca the tour guide, but other tourists were also having trouble finding their guide. Though we were at La Academia just prior to opening, we were glad not to be in the line to get it as it was already rather long 30 minutes before opening. There are so many wonderful things to see in La Academia that it was certainly beneficial to have a guide to point things out. We really enjoyed seeing the musical instruments, something we would have absolutely missed had we not been with a guide. Our tour group was small, about 6 people, it was easy to hear Francesca and move around through the crowd. The David was, of course, spectacular. That was where the tour ended. Had we wanted to we could have gone back into the La Academia and looked around more but we really had seen more than we anticipated.

This was an amazing tour! Our tour guide was Pam. Originally we had received a message that our tour was rescheduled from 10 am to 9 am, which was fine for us. They had great communication while trying to contact us - they emailed/sent a message on the booking and when I hadn't responded yet they called as well to confirm if the time change was okay. We only had another couple with us, so a group of 4. Pam did a fantastic job navigating what was best to see first due to crowds and went in depth on David as well as the other works of art. She was willing to answer any questions and took her time with everything. The artwork can be really overwhelming if you don't know what you're looking at and fighting the crowds but I felt she was able to give such great information on all the things we saw.

Understanding where to meet the guide and obtain our tickets was confusing; but once we figured that out, the tour was great. Our guide's name was Pam. Seeing David and the other sculptures by Michelangelo was great. So were some of the paintings that we saw in the beginning. Our tour guide, Pam, was amazing. She knew so much history and interesting facts, was pleasant to listen to, and made it much more enjoyable. We didn't wait long at all to get thru security and no waiting in the long line for tickets.
