Don’t get me wrong, the skip the line part is great!

It was such a huge advantage to skip the lines and be directed smoothly through security and into the museum.

Highly recommended specially to those travelling with family as she would keep the kids interested too.

Our guide Ivan was waiting for us on arrival, he took us straight jn through the ticketed fast track enrty👍and we were the only two guests!... he was so friendly and very knowledgable. He told us lots of interesting stories and made sure we enjoyed our guided tour. The hour zipped past and was the perfect amount of time.

Ivan was such an amazing tour guide! He was personable, knowledgeable, and shared lots of information about Michelangelo’s sculptures and his life, about the Musical Museum instruments, and the other artwork that spanned the centuries. He had a good sense of humor as well and made the tour quite enjoyable! It was just a small group of three plus Ivan - so it made it easy to hear him in a crowded space (I’m hard of hearing in crowded places!). Highly recommend Ivan and this tour!

Small gallery but this is must see when in Florence. Michelangelo’s ‘David’ sculpture was breathtaking. We had a great tour guide, Tom. The tour was very informative and Tom did an excellent job explaining the art. Our last stop was David and we spent a lot of time viewing it, walked around it and saw the sculpture from several angles while he provided details and background. The skip the line is a plus. We attended the 9:15am tour so recommend going earlier in the day as we noticed the Accademia was beginning to get a little crowded. Overall it was a great experience!

What an amazing opportunity to see some of the works of Michelangelo, especially the sculpture of David. I had visited before, but our tour guide Riccardo Lisi brought the experience to life, explaining how the sculpture came to be, the story behind the block of marble that was used and the amazing details Michelangelo included from his studies of anatomy. The stories about Michelangelo himself also contributed to what was an unforgettable experience.

After waiting 25 years to come to Florence and experience the city that started the Renaissance which of course included seeing David that was first on my itinerary , Riccardo Lisi, made it a very memorable event. I felt I was back in college learning exactly why Michelangelo was such a genius . To learn that he made the most famous statue, David, out of the a low quality marble just to prove a point is just one of the smallest details I learned on the tour. I highly recommend Ricacardo Lisi, for the Accademia Gallery tour.

Very worthwhile tour. Although this museum was not the most interesting in Florence, everyone needs to see the David. The lines are insane so being part of a guided “skip the line” tour is totally worth the price.
