This tour was fine. I would choose a different tour if I was to go it again. Our tour guide had a thick accent so I caught most but missed some too. She told us about the music room, the paintings and David. This museum is small. Maybe book a tour that does both.

This was a great way to see David. Our guide explained so many things that we wouldn’t have known if we went to see on our own. Walking right in and not waiting in line was great as it gave us more time to do other things in a city filled with so much art!

Julia was a very thorough guide with her in depth information of the history of Michaelangelo and his David sculpture. She painted very clear pictures of who he was and what his life was like. Her English was excellent and her descriptions of the sculptures were intelligent. We learned a lot.

We paid $50 per person for 6 of us so we wouldn’t have to stand in line AND we had to stand in line outside of the museum. I felt taken advantage of.

This was a good tour. Based on what it looks like it would cost to just buy tickets for entry yourself - the extra cost to skip lines and have an informative guide felt worth it. We liked it, very good.

The tour was good and the guide was knowledgeable. We'd never seen David and this was our aim for the tour. The location to meet up was easy, right across the road. There are a few seats, a toilet and water to buy. You can also leave big bottles (mine was metal) which can't be taken in. You get to skip the line which is a big part of the value. It was hot so this was really good with 3 kids. Our guide was good and interesting. My only negative was that we got through security, walked in, went around a corner, sat down and David was at the end of the corridor. It was a bit of an anti-climax to see it. I'd rather either have an intro in another room and then walk around for the big reveal. There is not much else of interest in the museum though. A bit of art, some busts of Michaelangelo and some musical instruments. I did like seeing David and it is impressive. So it was a good tour but I wouldn't say 'wow, definitely do it'.

Not worth the cost- terrible audio devices

Terrible audio devices that made hearing the type guide above all the background noise very difficult. This was also not a small tour- even the guide remarked how big the group was- around 20+people. Save yourself most of the cost and find a vendor to purchase the skip the line tickets- also, you'll still stand in line... just a shorter line. About half of this group returned our devices back and did our own thing on this.

The whole process was a mess, we waited 20 min for our guide and then had to stand in a long line. There was confusion in the group about tickets and ultimately we gave back headsets and went on our own. Also “small group” means up to 30.
