Very interesting your, Ana was a great guide and had lots of interesting information about the David, the other statues in the same room, and Michelangelo himself. Lasted a bit more than an hour. And as a side benefit, you get into the museum much faster as a group rather than waiting in the line to get a ticket or enter the museum which are very long.

Martina was an outstanding guide!! She and staff were well organized and welcoming. Martina showed a real depth of understanding and passion for the topic. She put David in a broader context of art and culture of the Middle Ages, renaissance and mannerism periods. And she showed us the Medici Stradivarius violin. Explanation of David as symbol of the young Florentine republic was very powerful. Great tour!! Highly recommend!!
