What To Expect

Your walking tour begins in central Florence, where you join up with your guide to explore some of the world’s greatest architectural and artistic masterpieces. Your guide discusses in detail how Florence became the ‘cradle of the Renaissance’ as you walk. Learn about the patronage of the Medici family, Leonardo da Vinci’s plans for the city, and scandalous events in Florentine history.

Travel through Piazza della Repubblica, and continue to the site of the Baptistery, Giotto’s Bell Tower, and the iconic Duomo, featuring Brunelleschi's Dome.

See the magnificent churches of San Lorenzo, Santo Spirito, and St. Trinity, before following your guide to the Arno River for views of the Ponte Vecchio.

After a tasty gelato break (included) near Pitti Palace, head to Piazza della Signoria, a popular hub of activity that hosts the Palazzo Vecchio, an open-air sculpture display and shops and cafes.

OK use of time

Was an ok tour if you have extra time. Probably not worth the cost but tour guide was nice and tried to give a good experience.
Highly recommend for all age adults. Nice to stop for gelato, well paced, great guide.

Great guide, Francesca, who knew her art history and made the walk informative in a very nice way. We were not rushed, and at each stop she gave plenty of time to answer any questions and some tips about Florence along the way. It’s a great tour to get a feel for where everything is, pretty close to each other.

Our guide Sarah was phenomenally knowledgeable and interesting. Watched out for us on the busy streets and found quieter ones to stroll on when able. The tour was a perfect pace and length.

This was the 1st of 4 tours we did in Florence and received the lowest review. The tour was ok, but I struggled with the language translation and as soon as I had understood what was said, the next piece of information was being spoken, so I was always trying to catch up. The tour guide really tried to be helpful, but I would probably not go on the tour again.

Thanks for a great experience! My guide Francesca was interesting, committet and brought the history of Firenze to life. It was clear that Francesca had a love for her town and town history. It was wonderful to walk around with someone who is as committed as Francesca. Thanks for the tips for good restaurants and for the tasty gelato :) Finally, thanks for not cancel the trip, even though I was the only participant.

Amazing Tour that did NOT cancel!

With all the COVID-19 travel restrictions, it is very difficult to find a tour that will not cancel on you. I booked 3 on my trip to Florence and 2 canceled on me, but not this one! I was so happy that this company did NOT cancel on me even though I ended up as the only person on the tour, and it was a wonderful experience! My guide was very knowledgeable and shared all the conspiracy theories of the Medici with me! It was a great and personal experience! She even went out of the way to show me where I can buy quality souvenirs I was looking for and where to eat! Definitely recommend!

Giada gave a wonderful introduction to one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen. She gave historical background with a warm and witty manner explained many well known and even hidden gems of Florence. This was the perfect tour to take before any other tours to orient yourself to this gorgeous place.

Maria was simply magnificent. She gave me history, artistic techniques and general information about the city. Pace perfect and her delivery excellent. This is the best tour I have experienced in Europe. Gelato to celebrate it's founder at the end was very welcome. Glad I took this tour on arrival. Thanks Maria!
