Guide was very knowledgeable but did not relate to children very well. We have used this service for other tours and the guides were able to speak very well to the children.
Masterpieces in a day
Jim_P, Oct 2022
Our visit in Florence was short and we wanted to see the amazing collection of the world’s art masters. Our guide Suzanna was incredible. A Florence native, she went out of her way to meet us at our hotel. Her knowledgeable was incredible, as she related the history not only of the masterpieces but also of the history of Florence, it’s cathedrals and beautiful palaces. The downside to the tour is that there was so much to take in, but considering our appreciation for the arts we managed to see all the highlights from the greats. Great tour and ask for Suzanna as she really did an outstanding job, with a easy flow of the Uffizi and Academy!

Great experience

Andrea was a wonderful tour guide, he really took the time to explain everything to us, really helped us connect various artworks to each other and kept our 3 kids of varying ages engaged.
Beautiful Uffizi
Gail_E, May 2022
It was so much to take in, I recommend doing it earlier in your vacation. We were already pretty worn out with two weeks of walking tours. But it was breathtaking and having a guide really helps you appreciate what you are looking at.
Florence Uffizi and Accadamia tour
Nathan_H, May 2022
Elana was knowledgeable and assisted us in seeing both Uffizi and Accadamia while seeing the main sights in Florence in half a day! This was an excellent value to be able to have our questions answered, avoid long lines, and learn more information about Florence than we could ha
Wonderful Florence city tour

Sophia was a wonderful guide and her love and knowledge of Florence was on full display. It was nice to have someone guide us through the exhibits at the Uffizi gallery and tell us the stories behind them. The accademia was great as well. Sophia even made dinner reservations for us at a lovely restaurant that we enjoyed later in the evening. Would definitely recommend!

It's a pleasure for us when visitors keep Florence in their heart because of a wonderful experience. Thank you, happy new year Susanna
Awesome guide! Worth every penny!

We had a fabulous experience with Alexandro (Alex), our guide. He is extremely knowledgeable about the city, it’s history, architecture and especially the art. I gained a whole new appreciation for Renaissance art, how to recognize it and the aspects that differentiate between the different artists. He showed us what to look at in each painting and sculpture and building. Today we are viewing a different museum on our own, and really miss having his insights. He is an awesome guide who obviously loves what he does.

simply......thank you!
Florence through the eyes of an expert
Andre_W, Dec 2021
Florence is a city full of history and art, and our guide Constanza was very helpful in making both come to life for us. Her in-depth knowledge on how to read paintings was impressive, and her passion for art truly infectious. She is personable, warm, and funny - a great companion for a wonderful day.
Response from Host, Jan 2022
Thank you, we passed your compliments to Costanza. She was very happy about your opinion and said she enjoyed the day spent with you
Wonderful art history tour
Michael_B, Sep 2021
Loved our tour guide! She gave us history of Florence along with art history, and really brought it all to life. Highly recommend this tour.
Response from Host, Oct 2021
Happy about that. Thank you! Susanna
Beautiful tour
Susan_C, Sep 2021
We asked ahead to shorten our private tour from 6 to 4 hours as our time in Florence was limited. In spite of this, our knowledgeable guide Andrea seemed to fit a mini art history course into a beautiful whirlwind tour. We came away with a greater appreciation of Florence’s role in the Italian Renaissance. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re limited on time and don’t want to miss the must-see art and highlights of Florence.
David statue

well worth the price. And booking this enabled us to avoid the long lines. Good guide. For me, Academia was more interesting than the Uffizi, but both were great.

Such a Great Experience
Jeehyun_L, Jan 2020
It may look pricey at first, but the Private Full-Day Tour in Florence was worth every Euro. We met our guide for a day, Andrea, on time at the Fountain of Neptune and headed straight to Uffizi. With so many tourists wanting to get in and tickets hard to get on time, it was such a smooth move to walk with Andrea. He is such a delightful man with profound knowledge and passion for sharing his love of art and history, he was able to give us best of what we wanted. Beware, unfortunately he is not the best photographer :) Uffizi and Accademia in a day is quite a lot than you think, but with little time we had, we just had to do it and Andrea made the experience much enjoyable. The walk between the two intitutions was also memorable, as there are plenty of history lessons on the streets of Florence. Overall, the experience was not only private, but very intimate, warm and delightful and I would highly recommend this tour!
Response from Host, Jan 2020
Dear Jasmin, thank you so much for your marvellous review. Andrea will be' delighted to read It! So grateful you shared your emotions! This is the aim we work for every day in our Life! Have a great day! Susanna
Spectacular start to our journey

My wife & I were observing our 13th anniversary..We were fortunate enough to have an enthusiastic, passionate guide in the personage of ?Leonara , herself an academic, former restorer.. To say she brought to life the history of Florence in a very real and emotive way is an understatement,, Recognizing the realistic limits to what can be comfortably consumed and appreciated in the allotted time, she thoroughly expanded our working knowledge of the time, and the historical individuals and important relationships which helped to shape region at the time.. Absolutely recommend this tour without reservation.. Leonora's the greatest :-) We thank you for the exposure to Florence

Our private tour July 12 (ref#702462536) in Florence, included the Uffizi and Accademia Gallery was absolutely perfect in thanks mainly to our tour guide Giovanni. He was incredibly knowledgeable about art and the history of Florence and his passion in describing the sites was so evident. Our 6 hour tour flew by and we were sad to see it end. I would highly recommend this private tour to anyone attending Florence!
Response from Host, Jul 2019
Thank you very much, Giovanni will be very happy to see your amazing review!
Florence is steeped in so much...
Felicia V, Aug 2018
Florence is steeped in so much antiquity and it played such an important role in the Rennaisance movement, that it is crucial to have the right kind of guide who is aware of all aspects of the City and can bring it alive for you. Which is why we were very pleased that Sylvia was assigned to our family myself, my husband and our two young daughters by 'Made of Tuscany'. After a very interesting and meandering walk through much of the main sites of historic Florence, we vistited the Uffizi and Academia. The skip the line access into both museums that this Tour offers makes entering both places a much more pleasant experience. Throughout the day, Slyvia gave us much in depth insights into everything she showed us, most times pointing out unusual and unique things, which would have been missed by our untrained eyes. At the Uffizi she showed us all the main pieces of art and did the same at the Academia. During the Tour we were allowed enough time to stop and gape in wonder at all the beauty we were seeing, take photographs, purchase souveniors and even pick up gelatos. We even had a chance to visit one of Florence's iconic mosaic stores which has it's own workshop. Our questions were very patiently answered and my daughters were very well engaged. Sylvia knew that one of my daughters is a student of art and music and the other loves fashion, so she made it a point to highlight many features in the artworks and displays that we saw in the galleries and in the places and stores around the city, that were in line with their interests. It was also amazing to see how many people in Florence knew Sylvia-passersby, museum staff, store owners! We sure were in good hands. This Tour is something that you should consider because you get to see almost everything historic and essential that Florence has to offer in a single day. Moreover the explanations, especially of the exhibits at both the Uffizi and Academia, an Art Historian guide can give you, are incomparable.
