We had Brenda as our guide. She was very knowledgeable and informative. Her English was perfect. We were picked up at our hotel and started the tour on foot. There were several important spots that she highlighted for us. Our entry into both museums were truly skip the line and we got to beat the crowd. For me the trip had many highlights but certainly David at the Galleria was one but the Uffizi had treasures that one could spend days uncovering. Brenda chose the important historical pieces and was profuse in explaining the details of the era and the artworks.

Our guide Brian was excellent. He's a graduate art major who was well versed in the art history of the period we were exploring at the museums. He imparted his knowledge of art styles, periods, and approaches with well crafted and articulated stories. While we were reasonable knowledgeable, his expertise filled in the gaps beautifully. He was very flexible with us as were we with him. We had an opportunity to stop in at the Medici Chapel (unscheduled) so we all agreed it would be a waste not to! We enjoyed each other's company so much we hung out after the official tour was over just to shoot the breeze over some wine and food at the Central market.

Definitely worth the private guide Jacamo was an excellent tour guide. So knowledgeable and helped us navigate the museums and the progression of how the artists contributed to each period. We would have never understood the significance of the pieces or understood the subtle nuisances! Sooo much to see in Florence get a rib aye guide. Skipped the lines was huge!! He even took us to the coolest (temp) wise areas to cool off while providing al the incredible pieces of info! Would do again in a heart beat

Our guide met us in our hotel lobby, super convenient. He was very informative without being too detailed. He held our attention for just the right amount of time and gave us plenty of opportunities to savor our surroundings and take pictures to our heart's content. We requested a change in the itinerary a bit, allowing us to finish in the Uffizi and stay longer, but that turned out to not be really necessary. The biggest advantage to this 6-hour tour was fast admission into Accademia and Uffizi, viewing the most important exhibits, along with strolling by significant landmarks. This could easily have been an 8-hour tour. There is so much to see in Florence.

I was expecting a little more from this tour given the price paid. Our tour guide was very polite and knowledgeable about everything although our tour started late and we had to make it to a place we hadn't originally agreed upon. The entire tour lasted about 5 hours. We were just expecting more. We also wanted to see the Duomo but the time in the Uffizi and the Accademia was very enlightening, we learned a lot.
