Bit underwhelmed with this tour

A lot of (unexplained) waiting around at Misrecordia for our guide. The tour was very mediocre with not a lot of information or detail…..far too general in content for the cost of the tour.!

Tour was :30 minutes late, then walked .5 mile! Could not hear the guide once inside the cathedral! Don’t like Viator’s policy of meeting at a site away from the attraction - too confusing and too much wasted time!

Another Way Into the

I made the common mistake of not booking my entry tickets in advance of my visit. When i got to the ticket office I found that all time slots had been sold out, with nothing available before my departure in two days. Luckily I found this tour online that granted us access (limited Church access only, not Baptistry). Our tour guide was a delight, eager to share her wealth of knowledge about the Church and Florentine history.
