Traveler Tips

Absolutely great experience for kids and adults Will recommend as MUST see museum.
There is also a rather generous hands-on area where you can re-build Da Vinci's bridge, cupola and others.

Being able to see all of his drawings then try out the machines was fantastic!!!!! My 13 year-old was thrilled!
Amazing experience

I loved that everything was interactive. Going through the history of Davinci's inventions and seeing them in person was an amazing experience. Unbelievable. I will definitely recommend this to anyone I know coming out to Florence.

This was one of my favorite museums. You don't really need more than an hour to do it, if you're traveling with kids this is a must. You walk in and see all of Leonardo's engineering ideas, then his studies on anatomy and physiology and astronomy and by this time you have forgotten that he was a painter but then you head into the back and are blown away. So much fun and leaves lots of time to explore old Florence after.
Fantastic interactive museum

If you are interested in appreciating da Vinci’s brilliant and practical mind, you’ll love this hands on museum. Fascinating!

Disappointing. Not worth the money or time. Small exhibit without much to do or see. On the plus side, it was clean and had good labels on the displays.
Leonardo at his best

Reasonable cost. Great directions made it easy to find. Love that we could take our time and explore the museum at our leisure. There’s a wide variety of inventions to interact with and interesting schematics/explanations of each. Enjoyed ourselves. Thanks.
amazing, all ages will enjoy

Great to see the drawing come to life. You can touch them and marvel at how one man thought of these things centuries before they were made.
Great for adults as well as children.

Seeing all of Leonardo's inventions come to life. Amazing for children. There is also a video for history loving people like me to view and learn more about the genius.

It was very interesting to see all of the contraptions Da Vinci came up with at that point in time. He truly was a genius of many crafts.

This was a great museum, there was a lot of interesting information & inventions to interact with. We spent around 30 mins - 45 mins here. The price for this was great, not too expensive

I really appreciated the service, even it though it was booked the guy that worked there let us slip in. The guides were also very informative About all the complex mechanisms.

This museum is not big and won’t take long, but it very nicely shows you the inventions and impact of Michelangelo’s magnificent mind in a very visual manner.
Amazing Leonardo, it's for everyone!

Absolutely perfect for anyone, not even just families. Leonardo, what an incredible man. There's a summary timeline of his life when you enter. Enjoy!
Great for kids, adults OK

Fun for what it is. When I wakes there I accidentally walked to the Leonardo Di Vinci Museum which is not the same! I have no idea the difference as I’ve been looking to up but no real info. Only takes about 45 minutes. Would be great for kids.

Nice experience!! The learning through the movement of the machines. Nice also be able to practice it
