Pick up at 9.30 am at the Hotel in Florence if centrally located. In case the Hotel is not located in Florence city center we will arrange the pick up in a location in Florence city center to be advised.

What To Expect

Your tour begins with pickup from your centrally-located hotel in Florence. Hop aboard a private vehicle and drive first to Piazzale Michelangelo for unbeatable views of the city. After taking some photos, continue the tour to the renowned Accademia Gallery, where you see Michelangelo's David and other famed works.

Enjoy exploring Piazza del Duomo on foot with guide commentary. In this popular square, see the bronze doors of the Baptistery, Giotto's Bell Tower and the outside of the Cathedral, with its iconic dome designed by Brunelleschi.

Once you've worked up an appetite, enjoy a delicious lunch in a Florentine restaurant (if you've selected this option).

After lunch, head to San Domenico Fiesole for access to panoramic views of Florence, Fiesole, and the Arno Valley. The day ends with a walk around the historic streets near Piazza della Signoria, a glimpse of the exterior of Loggia dei Lanzi, and a guided tour of Uffizi Galleries, where you are able to spot artwork by Leonardo da Vinci, and Michelangelo. Your tour ends here at the museum.

Great way to see Florence highlights in only a day!

Fantastic full day tour of Florence with a private driver and private guide. Simona was fabulous! She was an extremely knowledgable local with all kinds of interesting stories and able to answer all our detailed questions. Alessandro was a great and professional driver. Simona stayed with us during the museum tours which was great - we were able to see all the important elements without spending the whole day there.

Not worth for price, local guide took us for rid in Van in Florence and we ended in Uffizi gallery where we spend most of time so basically this tour is worth of entry fee of Uffizi gallery which is 30. Please don't buy afternoon Florence sightseeing Tour.

The guide was very knowledgeable. For sure a pity that he did not have a microphone, also not the second day after having asked him. The agency apparently only provides microphones for a group of 4 people, which does not make any sense. We were a group of only 3 and considering the masses of people around you with all the noise, only the person walking next to the guide may understand something, the other 2 not at all, so in that regard it was a waste of money to have a private guide, how nice he may have been.

Our guide for the day was Ilaria and she was great! We scheduled the tour for our first day in Florence and I am so happy we did because we were able to see all the highlights and then we could plan the remainder of our stay to revisit areas that we learned about on the tour. For example the Uffizi portion of our tour covered the big, and perhaps most noteworthy pieces, but one could return and spend an entire day at the museum. The pace of the tour suited our family of four very comfortably.

Well it is a private tour and not everybody can do this but if you can you will not be disappointed. Our guide was wonderful and full of knowledge and passion for Florence. We enjoyed our half day tour and because the line to the Cuomo was too long and my husband and I decided not to go inside she walked us to other areas of the city and we learned about their history. It is nice to be able to customize your tour a little bit.

Alesandra was the best guide we have ever had. She was so proud of Florence and you felt her energy in talking about all Florence had to offer. We were with her for about 6-7 hours but she gave us our own private family time as well. She brought us to fabulous mountain sites for great pictures. We went to the Uffizi and Accademia and we visited the areas we wanted based on her recommendations. We strongly recommend the tour and Alesandra.

The value for money was terrible. Our guide, while a lovely woman, spoke rather limited English. I asked the tour to be mindful of our three children aged 14,11 and 8 when tailoring the tour, which didn't really happen. I expected, for a full day private tour, a nice intro explanation into Florence's history and how it became the capital of the Reneassance. Instead we got sporadic highlights of a church here, a palazzo there. It even got to a point when asking about a gorgeous hillside building, we got the response it was a historical structure! The best part was the Uffizzi and the Accademia tour as our guide clearly appreciated art but didn't make up for the rest. The lunch at the selected restaurant was efficient and good.
