Lovely tour to Chianti

We enjoyed our ride with Mark to the outskirts of Florence city. Mark was very accomodating. Our trip was on a Sunday so there were less traffic on the roads which made it even better. I would definitely recommend Mark and would ride again with him the next time I visit Italy.

We booked this tour to see Tuscany by bike in one day and get some exercise, as we love to bike casually. The exercise was fabulous, as we covered 35 miles! There were some lovely views. However, there was also a lot of traffic with few dedicated bike paths, thus taking away from the ability to relax and enjoy the viewing the area. If I were to repeat I would probably opt for a more rural venue with more dedicated paths.

Our tour guide Mark was fantastic. He tailored the ride to exactly what we wanted. We rode about 45 miles with some good hills. We went through Chianti and some beautiful vineyards. We saw amazing small Italian towns, stopped for an espresso, had paninis, and had a private tasting at a small winery. One of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had.
