It was easy to find our guide and very efficient to get in the gallery. David is worth a visit. A museum docent explained the plaster cast gallery. Lovely museum.
Not Just A Clever Title - We Skipped the Line!

Although a little confusing and seemingly sketch at first, we did in fact "skip the line" to gain entrance to the Accademia Gallery. Purchasing on-line was super easy and well priced. After figuring out where and how to collect our tickets, we were ushered right in. We did have to prove our children's ages, which nearly was a problem. We chose not to carry our passports on us to this experience (we had been warned about pick-pockets), and when we arrived, they asked for photo ID's for our kids (ages 12 and 15). They were able to take our CDC vaccine cards that I had a photo of as proof of age. Whew!

We visited Florence on a tour of Italy. Our tour didn’t include seeing David at the Academia. Booked this skip the line ticket and it was perfect. Met the meet point to get tickets and was immediately walked up to the area by staff and then let into the museum. It went perfectly and we had a wonderful visit to view David. Was a bucket list visit for me.

Great value, and amazing experience. We met outside the Accademia to receive our tickets, Pretty well organized. Upon receipt of the tickets, we were offered to go along on the English speaking tour. Martina our guide was amazing!! Providing much background to the art pieces, art history, and Michelangelo's personal career and development. She was engaging, even for our younger kids, and provided some great commentary and pictures on her phone from other works not at the museum for comparison. It's a smaller museum than the Uffizi, so a 1 hour tour provides enough background, and then you can spend extra time afterwards to soak in the masterpiece of Michelangelo's David, and taking in the other art and sculptures.

This skip the line ticket was well worth the extra $10-$15 of the normal entrance fee. The host provided the meeting location and day of I was able to find the person no problem. They gave us our ticket and we were able to go right in at our selected time ahead of the regular line waiting outside. We went in the winter and there was a line so I imagine in the summer this would be even more worth it.

So easy and quick with the skip the line. And no words can describe “David”. We had tix for 11:00 and got in before that. Crowds weren’t horrible. Much easier viewing than seeing the Mona Lisa.

I walked to the museum around 11am and I was told by the security that by the length of the line, the wait would be 3 hours and I wouldn’t be guaranteed to get in and to try tomorrow. So I was glad to book this ticket and get access as I only had one day in Florence. I was very happy and was in the museum in an hour instead of 3 😊 Thanks!

A lot of waiting for nothing

Wasn't really skip the line access. We arrived early as instructed for our 12:00 reserved entry. We were left waiting for little over 30 minutes before getting any progress. It was around 45 minutes after our booked time slot that we actually got in. The operators were more interested in sorting out the guided tour people than just issuing us with our tickets. We were then given our timed entry tickets which has entry between 12:30 and 12:45. Which makes me think they didn't even have our tickets in the first place. Or gave them away to the passers-by that they asked if they wanted to join the the tour that werent booked on it the first place. Maybe more money is made that way as I notice the price one guy paid on the street to join the tour for him and his partner was little over 2 times as much as the guided tour price that can be found on this app. You will would be better off saving money and going direct to the museum website if you are planning on just having entry. Otherwise a guide is great for getting all the history of what you are seeing.

Horrible! They just take your money and cheat you, when you arrive there they refuze to give you the ticket to force you to upgrade to guided tour and pay more. if you refuze, they make you wait more than 1 hour that the booked time and sell your tiket on the street at overprice to others. This is a fraud
