The David is a treasure and it is not to be missed when visiting Florence, so we want to provide excellent service to all our clients. We want to ensure a smooth and easy way to enter the Accademia Gallery.
It is stated on our product description online and on the voucher sent upon booking confirmation under the "Before you go" heading in bold, that you must "Exchange your voucher for the (paper Accademia Gallery) ticket at The Florence Specialist office" . Our office is conveniently located just a few doors down from the Gallery entrance. The "mobile ticket" is your digital ticket that one needs to show (even just on a cell phone, no print-out is required) to exchange it for a paper ticket at the office. The Accademia Gallery, an amazing Gallery that houses the David since 1873, requires a paper ticket for entry (it is not equipped for entry with digital tickets).
Unlike other ticket providers, who have people on the street with a sign that are hard to find in the large crowd outside the Gallery, we provide an office that is easy to find, where travelers can redeem their tickets, connect to our wifi, download a guide to the Gallery (digital ebook), and use the facilities.
