The adventure continues as we continue our drive through the incredible countryside on our way to our final stop of the day.

If you do one amazing thing in Italy…this is that thing
Sheryl_N, Mar 2023
We can’t properly capture in words how incredibly amazing this experience was. We wanted to try an Italian wine experience. We did not realize we selected the absolute best tour! We visited three different locations, had three separate wine tasting, an olive oil tasting, a beautiful drive through the vast Tuscany region, and received a ton of useful information. A serious education. A special thank you to Alessandro…he is a true treasure and wealth of knowledge. Each host was welcoming and kind. Seriously, if you can do one special jaunt, make it this. We promise you’ll enjoy it!
Delicious wine and food
Cecilie_L, Mar 2023
Amazing trip in Tuscany. Didn't expect 9 wines, three places and that much delicious food. A great balance between knowledge about making the wine and then enjoying drinking. Levi, our guide, was amazing!
An outstanding experience

An outstanding outing! Gloria was a lively guide who never runs out of things to say. 😁 She is knowledgeable and very professional. The driver (Robert) is fantastic. He knows how to drive “the beast”, an ideal vehicle to see the area. All in all, I will miss Florence thanks to Gloria and Robert. À la prochaine! Michel & Josée.
Wine, Food, Views, and History
Adriana_O, Mar 2023
My family and I went on the Chianti Safari. Our tour guide was Gloria and our driver was Roberto. They were both very nice. Gloria was very knowledgeable about the Italian wine history. We tried 9 samples of wine and a variety of food. Good pours and large portions of food. We loved the trip, we learned about the wine and olive oil process. Would definitely recommend.
Gloria was amazing!

Amazing tour of the beautiful Chianti Region!
Roy_F, Feb 2023
Amazing tour! We had a great time touring the beautiful Chianti region during this tour. Our tour guide Lavi was excellent and made the experience even better sharing her vast knowledge of wine, history and the Chianti region. Being able to spend time at different wineries, seeing how the wines are made, learning about olive oil, sampling the wines, having a delicious lunch and seeing this beautiful part of Tuscany should not be missed! This tour is highly recommended and a must do!!
Wonderful trip!

An ABSOLUTE MUST!

Lavi was an incredible tour guide! She was so knowledgeable, friendly, funny and made the experience so enjoyable. The amount of food and wine we received, combined with the beautiful views and off-road adventures, made this an absolutely memorable experience for us. 100000/10 and would recommend to anyone (and have recommended to our friends and family!)
Wonderful experience!

Lavi was awesome! The trip was great start to finish. The jeep was safely driven by Roberto and the wineries were all very good choices. Lunch wasn’t large but was yummy. Would recommend to anyone!
Gloria is great!
Stasiu_G, Jan 2023
We were running a bit late, Italian time (10 minutes) they called me twice. A hectic start, but our guide, Gloria, was on top of things, for sure. She was a wonderful guide overall. We arrived at the first place and she walked in, conducted teh tour like she owned the place. Hilarious. The venues and the wines for each spot were great. The van was cool, the lunch was great. Gloria was sassy, which was also great, she was also very knowledgeable. And adamant that we not buy bad olive oil or bad wine. DOCG or die; black rooster, or die. The only thing I wish they would improve on was more wine, like when we arrive, lets walk the grounds with a glass of wine. Also, none of the tours had us make introductions, I think it would be nice to have introductions made when we all get started. Other than that, it was great.
Great wine, food and guide
Richard_M, Jan 2023
Gloria was our guide. She is extremely knowledgeable of regional wine and olive oil. All venues we visited were secluded and first rate. The wines were excellent as was the lunch. This is the second tour we’ve done with Walkabout. Their tours are very professional and well organized. The only negative was the vehicle. I found the ride too rough.
We had great time over...
BoonLi_L, Dec 2022
We had great time over the tour! Great wine and food! Excellent service from our dear tour guide Lavi and safari pilot Lebarto (not sure if I get the names right)! Highly recommended.
We made it
William_O, Dec 2022
On my calendar, I had the tour book for the following day ( my mistake) they called but we were an hour away from bus… they jump throw hoops to get us on the tour and back to our car.. we met them at the 1st winery and they brought us back to our car at the end of the tour. Super accommodating even though it was our fault…. Tour , food and wine were phenomenal. Our guide she was great, she even took us back to catch us up “in a nutshell” what we missed.. and the bus driver walked us up to the location of the group from the parking area . Food… you’ve heard. Restaurant makes it because of location, where we ate was not easy to get to … at all that’s why the big 4x4 truck .. so even though they were serving a group, you could see and taste why they were successful in there own right.
Chianti Tour

This was such an amazing tour and well worth it! The ride to the Chianti hills was gorgeous and the safari bus was the perfect way to travel up those hills! 😃 Our tour guide Alex was more than amazing he was very knowledgeable about the wine and the vineyards. He was also a good time and super outgoing and friendly!
We had so much fun on...
Kristin_T, Dec 2022
We had so much fun on this tour! Alessandro was our tour guide and he knew so much about the wine, country, and wineries we got to see. Some of the most beautiful views of our trip happened on this tour.
Alex was an amazing tour...
Noelle_C, Dec 2022
Alex was an amazing tour guide!! We got to try 9 amazing wines wit very generous pours and visited 3 amazing villas/wineries. The olive oil was great too!! Roberto was also an amazing driver!
What an amazing experience! I would highly recommend this tour to any beginner to any veteran of appreciating wine.
Michael_M, Dec 2022
What an amazing experience! I would highly recommend this tour to any beginner to any veteran of appreciating wine. Gloria was our tour guide (awarded sommelier) and she was VERY informative, had a great sense of humor, and was very personable — request for her if you can. It was exciting to see the reason it’s called a chianti “safari” because when we got to the country-side, the tour vehicle (the “beast” as Gloria calls it) goes a bit off the beaten path where typical street bus tours just aren’t capable of going, but in a very safe way. The drive was very smooth as well, thanks to the driver Romanolo.
Don’t Miss This
