It was awesome to be on terrace to see the city, but it was not a lot of time (just 5 mins). The part we really don't enjoy is the English tour guide with heavy accent and we had hard time to understand.

The climb to the terraces is not that difficult and the views are spectacular if you can't do the 400 plus to the top of the dome. Our guide was terrific,full of knowledge. Highly recommend.

The duomo is absolutely stunning and the climb to the top is worth the view! However, our tour was not what we expected. It felt as though the guide was doing the bare minimum and not giving much information at all as though she was trying to get it over with. From the time we started to when she left us on our own was at most 25 minutes. We have done over 7 tours on our trip of various cathedrals and points of interest and this was disappointing.

Poor experience. Really overpriced. Do not take this one! Tour guide was low energy and not great. Views from middle first tier were nice. But felt really rushed and didn’t have time to take photos and really soak it in. Went to top but would not recommend if you are at all claustrophobic. Got stuck on the top with the largest kids group ever. Really ruined it and there was no room to move up there. Overall, worse tour of my entire 10 days Italy trip

This was definitely worth the money. For starters, you get to skip the long line to get into the cathedral by going through a side door. The lines to get into Santa Maria del Fiore were intense and very likely longer than the entire tour. Giacamo, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, kind, and funny. He was very accommodating to all the guest and personally walked several people that didn't want to go up the 4000 stairs to the very top back down. If you plan to see the Cathedral its worth the money to do a tour that gives you the history while also allowing you to skip the long lines. This one was cool because you got to climb up to the top of the dome.

Our guide walked us to the Duomo and around the inside, but was uninspiring. She came with us to the private terrace but then that was where she left us. Climbing the dome was amazing, but the tour was just so-so.

Beware of confusing meeting point instructions

Could not find the meeting point for the travel agency that was conducting our tour. Made contact with the tour guide 15 minutes before our meeting time but we were not able to understand due to language barrier. The tour guide entered the Duomo with. His tour group without us. We tried once again to both call and message the travel agency prior to the start time but both went unanswered. When we were finally able to make contact they informed us the guide went inside and that they would not honor our request for refund. There was no loss for them since the guide was still able to take a group on the tour. We lost almost $400 due to the agency’s greed and lack of understanding that this was not an intentional cancellation on our part.

It was definitely worth not having to stand in line for 2 hours! The guide was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of the history. The view from the outside first landing was great- didn’t go to the top as it was very hot outside and the thought of walking up hundreds of stairs with little air was not worth the extra view for us.

Overpriced tour, for which a lot of it was outside the building looking at symbols before finally entering inside a good 45mins after the tour start time (which also started late). Felt that the terrace walk was overrated. The walk up the duomo was optional after the tour ended and the wait on the small walkway half way up was quite a while and not explained very well. Tour guide was nice, just felt that this type of tour is very overpriced for what you actually do and not well organised.
