What To Expect

Meet your driver in the historic heart of the city at 9:00am and depart in a comfortable vehicle for a day in the Tuscan countryside.

Travel along the winding Chiantigiana Road into the picturesque hills. The first stop is Greve in Chianti, where you'll have a brief 15-minute stop to snap some pictures and check out the town square.

Continue on to a small wine estate for a tour of the vineyards and wine cellars before sampling three of the estate's wines and olive oil. The estate produces eco-friendly Chianti and Super Tuscans, and what you taste will depend on what's available that season.

The next stop is San Gimignano, the hilltop town famous for its many towers. Enjoy a 40-minute stop to explore on your own before the tour continues on to a nearby farm not far from San Gimignano. Admire the farm's historic farmhouse, including an ancient watchtower.

Relax at the farm over a light lunch, followed by a chance to sample some of the products produced right there – as well as some other typically Tuscan goodies chosen by the guide.

Travel back to Florence at the end of the day, where you'll be returned to the place where you met your guide.

Francesco our driver and your guide was the best!! He was so kind, informative and funny. The first farm stop was brigioni winery. And it was amazing!! Mauricio gave us a tour of his family farm where he makes olive oil and wine. Spritz aperol was his dogs name and she was adorable!! You have to do this tour.

Enjoyed stopping in charming San Gimignano. The estate winery had lovely grounds. The lunch was far from light and the wine tastings were quite generous. The small family winery made us feel like family. Our guide, Romana, was courteous and pleasant and helped make the day such a pleasure!!!

It was our honeymoon and luckily we got the whole trip just by ourselves! Perfect coincidence!! Daniele was our guide and he was very knowledgeable about the history of the Chianti region and drove us to San Gimignano and two wineries. We loved both of the wine tours so much, especially the second family-owned vineyard. The food was amazing and obviously NOT a lite lunch at all lol. Daniele took us to a nearby village as a bonus at the end of our trip and it was so historic. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is into history, wine, and food!

Fabulous Day in Tuscany

Our driver Yarit was great. He was accommodating and courteous. Lunch and tastings at Tenuta Torciana were incredible. The grounds are breathtaking. Our second stop at Gallo was lovely, and our sommelier there was very knowledgeable and patient with our questions. The view from Gallo was breathtaking. Highly recommend this tour, for the food, wine and scenery.

The trip was easy to book and the meeting place easy to find. We were met by Daniele (sorry if I have spelt your name wrong). His english was excellent and he provided a very informative "story" of the region. I am always a bit dubious about taking these type of tours but this one I would totally recommend. Our guide went out of his way to make the experience memorable and the vineyards and village we visited were contrasting|outstanding which gave us a very good understanding about the region. Totally worth the money. Great scenery, great wines, the food was Ok but more than enough.

The driver was great and knowledgeable. First stop San Gimiganano. Beautiful walled city but only had 20 minutes there which was ridiculous. Would have prefered to skip one of the other stops. You need at least 1/12-2 hours there. The 2 wine tastings were great but 1 could have been left out so more time in San Gimiganano.

Usually we give 30 to 45 minutes in San Gimignano, however if the driver stopped only 20 minutes might be the case that you were late on your schedule to go the other places where we have a reservation for the wine tastings at pre-arranged timings, therefore unfortunately being a regular tour we are not able to delay the arrival time to the farms. We will take in consideration your suggestion of dedicate a longer stop in San Gimignano that we agree with you it all worth it!

Great way to experience Wine country

We selected this tour for the size of the group and the visit to San Gimignano. We arrived at San Gimignano early in the day, beating most of the crowds. Would have been nice to have a bit longer time there, but still had time to still the town. The first winery we visited prior to them being open. Made for a quiet and wonderful tasting, our total tour group was only 6. Great way to see and taste wine country. Great driver as well!
