Best way of going through the hundreds of artworks and history in the Uffizi Gallery. Stefano Materassi was an amazing guide. His way of imparting knowledge kept us engaged all of the time. It felt like meeting an old friend. If you do one thing in Florence, you have to do this tour with Stefano.

Waste of big money and time JUST go alone

Too much time and talk given for paintings therefore we could only see in total 10 or so where we could see three times more . Yes we could stay and see more ourselves but who has the energy after 2.5 hours Headphones were not good quality , only on one ear and you hear all the noise of the museum from other side I would definitely NOT recommend. It was a waste of time and money .

We had a fabulous experience at the Uffizi with our guide Manuela. Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable and informative, but she brought the history of the era alive as well as the artists and paintings. She provided context to each piece and pointed out both the skill and innovations of each artist taking her time in front of each masterpiece to ensure each of us had a chance to get up close and see the subtle techniques ourselves. Our son wasn’t feeling well during the tour and she was very helpful as we supported him. Overall, we saw everything we hoped, had the time we wanted to both enjoy and learn about art history and the Renaissance, and would love to recommend Maneula as a guide!
