Between halls, you can admire ancient Roman and Greece sculptures, as well as the frescoed ceilings and lovely views from the large windows. Your journey through time will begin in the 13th century, the birth of the Renaissance era. Discover fascinating artwork covered in gold, depicting images of Madonna and the child. However, the breakthrough began with Giotto, who used three-dimensional elements in his masterpiece, forevering changing artistic style.

Sadly, the guide had a VERY heavy...

Sadly, the guide had a VERY heavy accent and she was difficult to understand. In addition, she focused a considerable amount on the history of Florence, Italy, etc...versus the actual art. Extremely disappointing.
