Great tour of the Uffizi Gallery

We went on new year's eve and the Uffizi gallery was super crowded. The general admission line was about 3-4 hours long. We booked this tour last minute the day before and I'm so glad we did it. The line for tour groups was so much shorter. Our guide was very good and thorough - unfortunately I forgot her name (older blond italian lady). She asked for everyone's names and answered questions my kids have about the art. We were able to see the famous artworks in the Uffizi and also learned the art history and why they are considered masterpieces. Overall it was a good investment of time and money.

Uffizi tour

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and took us to see the important/ most popular items first. We used this same tour company with another guided tour in Florence and had a great experience both times. The meeting point was easy to find and easy to get our tickets and headsets from the employees. We waited in a separate, shorter line that the other tourists.
