Maybe Sir your visited lots of time, therefore you do not need to stay more time for paintings. But group guided tours; other people expect good explanations for every painting. First, the Uffizi was WAY bigger than I had ever imagined; I'm not sure how we would have explored it on our own. It was great having Pam take us around and show us the highlights. She had a ton of knowledge that she shared in a fun and interesting way. Pam was very accommodating to some special needs I have when dealing with large crowds and went out of her way to make sure my husband and I had an enjoyable experience! Would recommend for anybody looking to tour the gallery.

Our guide Guido was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the art and artists and took us to see all the popular works and then let us explore on our own. You can see all the main works in 2 hours and then enjoy the rest at your leisure.

She was early at the agreed time and place and we could start immediately and got a "private tour" for we had the luck that nobody else tokk part at this time.

Recommended the semi private tour. We booked a late afternoon tour, fortunate for us there were only 4 of us. The guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about sharing the history of the top ten rooms and paintings we visited. If you want you can go back to any room at the end of the tour. Great way to get the most out of your visit to Uffizi.

Excellent tour with Leonardo. Very knowledgable and kept tour interesting. We had already had a long day and was worried this might have been too much but the 2 hours flew by. Saw all the highlights of the museum and he even gave advice on visiting Accademia the following tour. Well worth the investment.
