This is not the same “hop on hop off” bus offered in other cities although it is advertised that way on the Viator site. There are 5 trips around the city all day ending in the early afternoon (well before dinner). We were here for two days thinking it would be a nice way to get around as it was in other cities like Dublin, Glasgow and Edinburgh - but in 48 hours I saw a total of 2 buses (we were in the city the entire time). Never once used this transportation and am still waiting on the refund. I would recommend the hop on hope off train through Galway - looks so cute and runs constantly.

We had a wonderful tour of Galway! This tour allowed us to see the coast, which we loved. It also showed the down town area very well. We also liked that you could get off where you wanted by pushing a button. The whole loop is about an hour- great way to orient yourself!

With the winter schedule the long waits for the bus precluded seeing things. The driver pleasantly agreed with us it wasn’t worth riding the bus. We walked and cabbed everything and it was fine and better without worrying about your bus. At least with only one bus running it’s a waste.

I booked a hop on hop off bus for my two day stay in Galway, only to find out they was not running until the weekend, I booked it for tuesday and wednesday the 15th and 16th of september I was not told about this when booking on line.

Stay completely away from this company .. specifically picked my day to go on the tour .( tuesday). my father and sister were left walking around trying to find the ticket office.. only to find out that the company only runs on the weekend.. they still took my money and no customer service got back in touch with me .. appalling service ..

Worst experience ever! We waited 2.5 hours for a bus that never showed up. Contacted the company and no response. Waiting for a refund since we won’t be able to use the tickets. Should have never sold them to us when bus wasn’t running. Would never recommend.
