Amazing way to see the Cliffs of Moher

We loved the 5 hour Cliffs of Moher independent tour. Our driver was very engaging with the passengers and knowledgeable about the area. The road to and from the cliffs is very narrow and very windy and he was able to handle the large bus expertly through all the tight turns. Once we arrived we had 2 full hours to explore the cliffs which was enough time to see all we wanted and hoped for. I highly recommend it for budget and time conscious travelers

Easy to find location in town. Lovely bus ride. A few hairpin turns. The Cliffs were amazing. We were on a cruise , so this can work.

Absolutely loved this tour. Staff is amazing and our driver has incredible skills navigating tiny winding roads in our giant coach bus. Would highly recommend and I'm likely to do it again next trip!

I won’t consider it a “Tour”. It was just a driver who took us to the most magnificent place, and then brought us back to where it all started. He didn’t say a word during the whole trip. I was expecting for him to tell us where we were, or at least some facts, but he didn’t say a word. Considering it as a “half day tour” I’ll say the time at the Cliffs were enough, but for me the cliffs deserve at least one more hour to spend in.

Hey Andres, You are correct, this is not a Tour. It is however, as the title states, an Independent Cliffs of Moher Half Day Trip, Described in the overview as a "direct shuttle bus". Essentially this service provides guest the opportunity to travel directly to the Beautiful Cliffs of Moher and return to Galway all within an afternoon. I'm disappointed to hear this wasn't what you were expecting, I feel our Full Day Cliffs of Moher & The Burren Guided Tour would have been better suited to your needs. But I can agree that The Cliffs of Moher are a Magnificent Place and I'm glad to hear you did enjoy your time there and we do look forward to Shuttling more guests to experience The Cliffs of Moher as part of our Independent Cliffs of Moher Half Day Trip. Lovely countryside drive. Nice but long bus ride. Cliffs were awesome ! Spent some time walking around and then had great Irish stew in the cafe there. Cute shops too!

The breathtaking view of the cliffs were fantastic. The ease to to get to all sites was extremely easy. Shops and cafe were convenient and enjoyable as well. The entire experience was well worth the trip to get there!!

Exactly what we needed! Quick, easy, friendly guide, and enough time to see the Cliffs! The ride was also beautiful and the guide told us about some of the towns we drove through.

This trip was a great way to see a bit more of Ireland and get to the Cliffs in an easy and comfortable way. Frank was a great driver and provided some interesting facts as we drove. Whole experience was simple and enjoyable.

The Cliffs are amazing! We got there and back with no issues. The driver did his job. He was not engaging or informational in any way. His job was simply to get us there and get us back, and he did. If you're looking for more engagement or information about the area and sites you see along the route there and back, this would not be the tour for you. If you just want to get there, see the cliffs, and leave, this is your tour.

We did this tour with Frank as our driver. First off, the cliffs were absolutely breathtaking and Frank told us everything we needed to know about them, including where the less crowded bathrooms are. On our drive home there was a car accident in front of us. Frank handled the entire situation, kept everyone on the bus calm and assisted with everything going on on the road.

Thank god I did not make that drive myself as the roads were very narrow and windy and about 1.5 hours from Galway. We left at noon and returned about 5 pm. You were on the bus longer then at the cliffs but it is what it is
Half day trip to the cliff

Half day trip to the cliffs of moher is good for a solo traveller as u only have ur own time to manage and focus on. We left galway at around 12 nn and came back at around 5 pm. The only time we really got is 1.5 hrs in the cliff. People coming late for the trip shortens ur time of enjoying the view.

We visited on Easter Sunday and had a fantastic time at the Cliffs of Moher. Our driver, John, was wonderful. Our coach (about the size of a Greyhound bus) departed from Galway at noon. We reached the Cliffs around 2pm and had an hour and a half to walk around, take photos, and visit the new Visitors Center. Despite the Easter crowds, we had ample time to walk the Cliffs (which are absolutely breathtaking). The Visitor Centre has a cafe and interactive exhibits detailing the history of the Cliffs its wildlife, and the family surnames of the surrounding county. On the way back, our driver John provided fascinating commentary about the history of the area, including pointing out historic thatched roof cottages and the classic scanner stone fences lining the fields and roadside. We enjoyed taking the half day trip as this allowed us to have brunch in Galway beforehand and got us back to town in time for a delicious supper!
