Cold day warm attitudes!

Cold rainy day but our guide from Connemarra Chauffeurs was warm and knowledgeable about the area and the history. He was also a great driver for our private tour!!

We had the most spectacular day thanks to our tour guide John Morrissey. By the end of the day, he felt more like a friend than a guide. He hit all the big stops - but there were so many surprises along the way that made the tour feel really special and customized. I honestly never write reviews - but he was so kind, funny and knowledgeable. A total highlight of our trip! You will absolutely love this tour!

The cliffs of mohr were incredible, Pete took us to a place to view the area, that was great. I had twisted my ankle a week ago, and was having difficulty walking too far and he knew the perfect place to stop. We would absolutely use Pete again!

If you book this tour MAKE SURE you ask for John Mallory. We must’ve made 8 stops at churches, castles, chocolate factories, 5000 year old tombs, cemeteries, etc etc before even getting to the Cliffs of Moher…and he knew the back way in so we avoided a mile long hike to get the best pictures. Awesome time!!

Our guide John was great. Very knowledgeable and professional. The views were incredible. The suggestion we have is that that car was not big enough for 4 people. Very uncomfortable to get in and out and my husband sat in the back in the middle with one leg on each side of the hump. Not comfortable at all for being an expensive private tour.

This tour let us see the two items we wanted (the Cliff's & a sheepdog demonstration), but it also let us see SO much more. John was a great driver, who showed us soooo many things - from the University in Galway to the chocolate shop along the way to the croses and a monistary. We hit our highlights while also seeing so much more & learning about the area and history along the way. Yes, we could have done the drive ourselves. But, the tour showed us so many places that we had to no idea to stop at & it lets us just sit back, relax and watch the beautifyl countrside go by! Bonus was the "shortcut" to the Cliff's that enabled us to drive up to a spot near the Cliff's rather than hiking (and I am NOT a hiking person). We got to spend time there enjoying the area rather than just getting to the area. Book the tour if you're thinking about it - best day of our trip!

We were so grateful to work with Connemara Chauffeurs on our tour of the Burren and Cliffs of Moher. We had a very nice time and a lovely lunch (our own cost) of fish chowder and Guinness in Doolin. A very memorable day.

Very friendly Driver and nice car. Was flexible. Only downside was he did not seem familiar with exactly which tour we booked - asked us what we wanted to see - did not get to do sheepdog exhibit which was supposed to be part of it and no bottled water as advertised so bring your own.
