What To Expect
Head to the Geneva bus station at Place Dorcière to board your bus at 8:30am, and relax on the journey to Chamonix.
Set on the side of Mont Blanc, Chamonix is a ski resort that retains its charms long after the snow has melted. While it’s busy in the winter, the resort remains vibrant through the summer months with excellent restaurants and a pedestrianised center with cobbled streets that beg to be explored.
Enjoy free time in Chamonix to explore on your own, or upgrade to include a ride on the Aiguille du Midi cable car. The ride lends itself to sweeping views of the French, Italian, and Swiss Alps, and you can even see the Matterhorn on clear days. If it’s open, visit the Step into the Void attraction, and peer down from a jittering height of 12,605 feet (3,842 meters).
In the afternoon, return to your bus for the journey to Annecy, the much-loved lakeside town that’s often called the “Venice of the Alps.” Listen to audio commentary as you travel, then make the most of some free time to explore the lake and Annecy Old Town. Perhaps visit Château d’Annecy, or browse the museums, markets, and artisan shops. Entrance fees are at your own expense.

These tours would be great done...
Bryan, Jul 2017
These tours would be great done separately but together there is not enough time at each. Main issue was having to go back to Geneva after visiting Chamonix, waiting on another bus, and then traveling from Geneva to Annecy. Ate up a lot of time just traveling. Would have been much better if they transported you directly from Chamonix to Annecy. Annecy is beautiful and highly recommended.
