Santa Margherita, Portofino and San Fruttuoso walk and boat - private tour

Portofino was one of the most beautiful places we have ever been. And our guide was terrific! Thank you!

From before we had even got off our cruise ship, we knew Paola was there already waiting for us as we communicated via Whatsapp, which is a big relief. As soon as she greeted us, she gave us an idea of an itinerary which we agreed so we went straight on another boat that took us to San Fruttuoso. She gave us options of what we could do while there and showed us around the Abbey, took us to a bar so we could all use the restrooms & have refreshments and then got us set up with deck chairs while we braved the frigid temps of the water. Meanwhile she was calling restaurants in Portofino, our next stop, to get us a reservation for lunch and thankfully she found one place that was able to take all 6 of us as it was very busy in the area. We took another boat to Portofino where she showed us round this beautiful city, absolutely stunning, and then escorted us to our lunch reservation. While we ate, she sent me a picture of where we were to meet her after in order to get the boat back to Santa Margherita. As the boats get very busy, we had to sit separately from each other, but Paola sat among some young school girls and she started talking with them and explained we were all on the cruise ship which was very visible from our boat. The girls were super intrigued and wanted to practice their English on my husband who sat behind them. It was so cute and a wonderful final memory of a great trip with Paola.

We visited Santa Margherita, Portofino and Rapallo. We couldn't visit San Fruttuoso because of the weather. Nontheless, our guide Marta made it the best experience. She was great and we relly enjoyed the visit. We learned a lot and I'm sure we will remember this tour for years. Thank you.
