Learn what the Battle of Gettysburg meant to the people who lived there during the war. Observe the many artifacts, historical documents, interactive displays, and 3-D productions, to gain a better understanding of the events that took place in Gettysburg before, during, and after the battle. Price of ticket same as at the door. Parking is.free but the museum is only so-so. The ticket fees do help support the group keeping up the historic sites.

Excellent time and very interesting. The museum was informative and parts of it in 3D. The video of the civil war was really good as well as the Cellar experience.

The museum was great!!! The problem was I couldn't use the electronic passes. Everytime I tried to download or retrieve I received a message saying the site was unavailable. I created a line trying to "skip the line".
Systemic learning requires greater time for discernment and integration to occur.

The 360 panarama was and is a great but the experience was rushed; we were in and out making it difficult to integrate or put together how each ‘action’ individually affected those around it as well as the whole.
Basically, the systemic approach requires a non linear methodology to advance deeper understanding.

We saw and learned alot. The movie was very interesting. Gift shop is cute and affordable. There is a 3D experience with certain pictures and videos. Cellar room is amazing.

Really impressed with the new Heritage Center. The media was terrific. The displays are really well put together and interesting.
Just need to keep the kids from banging on the drums!
The items in the gift shop were lovely as well.

I really liked the personal accounts of the residents and the visualization of the armies' movements in the movie. The cellar experience was alarmingly effective...but not too scary.

It was a nice museum! I did by the tickets bc this site said the tickets would sell out fast. We were the only ones in the place for an hour

Thank you for your review! I'm glad you enjoyed the museum! Depending on your time of visitation, we find that it is either very busy or quiet. We do offer walk-in ticket sales as well, so there is the option to wait and buy tickets upon arrival. We can never say exactly how busy we will be.
