The 2 day Highland trip was enjoyable...
Minou, Sep 2018
The 2 day Highland trip was enjoyable overall however, it did not live up to its itinerary. Our guide was Sergio and he did a nice job on the trip. We booked this 6 months before travel and we were supposed to stay in Fort Augustus overnight. Towards the end of the 1st day, we were told we were staying in Inverness instead. On the 2nd day, we spent the morning at Loch Ness and Urquhart castle, which we quite enjoyable. We then went to Culloden and a visit to the stones. We were told that the planned stop at a distillery was not possible because it was all booked. We ended up spending most of the afternoon of the 2nd day on the bus. It seems that they adjusted the tour due to overbookings etc. We were looking forward to the distillery! It certainly put a damper on the end of the trip.

I was spellbound, stunned by the beauty of lochness. I highly recommend this tour. Worth every penny you spent on this. The same tour is available in 1 day tour but it's hectic. Always keep in mind about the season you are going. I recommend summer but winter is also stunning there.

It was absolutely wonderful. Rob, our guide made every moment fun and so informative. He made history so much fun and even the youngsters in our tour were involved and had a blast. No one felt left out or ignored. Because he enjoyed what he was doing we had a even greater time.
