What To Expect

This full-day air, land, and water adventure—from the Grand Canyon South Rim to Antelope Canyon and beyond—begins at Grand Canyon National Park Airport with a pilot meet and greet. Then it’s a scenic flight over the Grand Canyon’s East Rim, the Colorado River, and Lake Powell to Page, Arizona.

At Page Municipal Airport, meet an American Indian tour guide who leads an expedition in a 4x4 vehicle to Antelope Canyon, a stunning slot canyon on Navajo land east of Page. Proceed through a tunnel to the starting point for a rafting trip.

Break for a picnic-style lunch (sandwich, chips, cookie, fruit, and bottled water) in a souvenir cooler bag before boarding a motorized raft to float along the Colorado River. Pass through the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area as the guide talks about the history and geology of the region.

Finally, board a van or coach for the drive back to the Grand Canyon. Pass through the Navajo Nation and stop at the popular Cameron Trading Post for southwest Native American jewelry, arts, and crafts on the way.

This Grand Canyon tour concludes back at Grand Canyon National Park Airport.

This was an amazing trip of a lifetime (in a lifetime of amazing trips--I've been to Alaska, the Galapagos, all over Africa, all over South America, all over Europe, all over the Mediterranean. Honestly, this may have been one of the most awe inspiring trips ever! I saw the stunning beauty of my own country, learned an enormous amount from very knowledgeable guides and thoroughly enjoyed the day. Granted, it wasn't cheap but it was completely worth every penny. The flight over the Grand Canyon was as incredible as anything could ever be. Antelope Canyon was more amazing in person than any photo can ever show. The raft trip down from Lake Powell through Glen Canyon to the Grand Canyon was both awesome and informative. If you have the money and you will be in the area, you should do it!

Amazing tour. The flight was incredible and the hike through antelope was nice but a little dark inside. The river tour was way too hot. It would be a game-changer if they had any type of covering on the raft. Otherwise the views on each part of the tour were breathtaking. Would definitely recommend!

We wish the float time was shorter! Going thru security before floating down the river was ridiculous! We felt like we were going thru airport security! They wanted to control us! We were never informed about what we could bring on the float! The plane ride was good! Our antelope canyon guide was awesome! It was a 11 1/2 hour day! If you want to do this excursion, please make sure you are aware of everything!

A few things that Viator did not make clear that they should have and slightly spoilt our tour. Told all water was provided, which it wasn't so didn't bring any with us and struggled all day. And not told about the opportunity to swim on river rafting so didn't bring any swim wear or towels which was a great disappointment. Otherwise good tour.

Each piece of the trip was enjoyable, although I do agree that the rafting portion could have been abbreviated .. but, I think it’s just a matter of access points! Lots of water available along the way and you’re encouraged to hydrate! Pack sunscreen!!

The plane ride with Craig was amazing. Comforting and adept pilot, incredible views and we were lucky to have a very smooth trip. The trip through antelope canyon is a bit rushed and focused on pictures, but still impressive! And the boat ride is beautiful, with lots of great information about the canyon. It just runs a bit long at 3 hours! Make sure you bring a water bottle (and some snacks!).

So the first part of this trip is amazing and very well organized. The flight, the rafting trip, the tour of the Antelope canyon. The challenge we had was that they hike was about 10 minutes not 30 minutes. You walk out of the Canyon and over to a staircase back to the transportation that brought you to the canyon. Then at the end of the day - we assumed we would fly back, but no it was a 3 hour bus ride. Way too long after a long day and not good with kids.

BEWARE - Viator Customer Service is HORRIBLE

I’m sure this tour is wonderful but we wouldn’t know. The tour operator called us 15 minutes prior to us being at the airport to cancel the entire tour. (Due to mechanical issue with the plane) This was July 5th, holiday weekend. After multiple calls, we were offered a complimentary 45 helicopter ride. Only to find out ,afterwards, the tour company and Viator were in dispute about the “complementary” part, so we were charged almost $1,000 for a 45 helicopter ride...not the 12.5 hour tour. Multiple calls to both Grand Canyon airport and Viator, neither company honored their commitment. HORRIBLE customer service from Viator. Unacceptable and we will no longer be doing business with this Viator. (We’ve gone through Viator in multiple countries...until this disappointing experience) please find another company to book your adventure.

This is a fantastic trip. Our pilot, Jack, was funny and very informative during our flight over the canyon. The Antelope Canyon was worth the price of the whole trip. Our guide, Rico, went above and beyond at helping us get the best shots and giving us background and incidental information about the canyon. We were delivered to Justin for our trip down the Colorado. He was really nice and not rushed at all. It was really hot and he would pull into shaded areas whenever he found them. Our trip started early so we managed to avoid the crowds. Antelope Canyon is very busy between 9 and 3. As we were coming out it was getting crowded. It was nice not having to deal with driving and finding parking. We considered it well worth the money. The only real negative was the boat ride was a bit long. It could be run a bit quicker to shorten the time in the summer.
