- Please wear appropriate footwear such as hiking boots, trail runners, or running shoes with tread. No flat bottom shoes, sandals, or open toes. You are hiking the Grand Canyon.

- Please bring light hiking clothes and not heavy fabrics like denim.

Pickup details
We will coordinate a proper pickup time for the time of the year your hike falls on. We will call within 48 hours to set up your time and place of pickup. We have free pick up from Williams, Flagstaff, and Grand Canyon in our clean Honda Odysseys. We do NOT pickup in Sedona as that is too far away. The drive from Sedona to GC is about 2 hours.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Fantastic hike!

This was our first trip to the GC and we wanted to do a hike BUT knew we would only enjoy with a guide and proper equipment. Our family (kids ages 14 & 11) are novice hikers. Only Grand Canyon Day Hikes did not disappoint! They supplied backpacks with more snacks than we could possibly eat, hiking sticks (a must!) and crampons (definitely needed bc it has been snowing lately). Our guide, Kevin, was fantastic. He showed us the ropes and let us set the pace especially getting back out. Kevin also made us a delicious fresh lunch down at Cedar Point. Cost may seem pricey but it was definitely worth it. Some members of our family were very apprehensive about the hike but Only Grand Canyon Day Hikes really set us up for success and we had a great day. Jon especially was very communicative prior to the hike so we knew what to pack & what to expect. Would highly recommend!
Best way to see the Grand Canyon!

We planned our Arizona spring break trip around our hike with Canyon Jon and it did not disappoint! The family is new to hiking so it was a blessing to embark on our half day trip with an experienced guide who had everything we needed and tons of knowledge about the canyon and trails. From when to arrive, to where to park, to what gear to wear, when to wear it, food, water and best picture spots, Jon knows it all. I would absolutely recommend this tour for those looking for an in-depth Grand Canyon experience.

This was a great hiking experience for all ages. Kevin was great. He picked us up in Flagstaff and drove us to the Grand Canyon. The views were awesome. Kevin provided snacks and lunch for everyone.

Experienced guides with a wealth of knowledge about the Canyon. Made it fun and safe during a winter hike. Knew how the get the most out of the experience and timed the hike to get the best views! Best lunch and freshly prepared on the hike! Will definitely be back and use this company again!

This was the most amazing experience! Jon was our guide and provided all of the essentials for our snowy trek down! He even made a delicious gluten free meal for us. It was delicious! Honestly…this was an adventure we will never forget!

We had an incredible experience hiking with Jon into the Canyon. Even though it was foggy at the top, our hike down got us the view we wanted. Great information about the Canyon, excellent equipment for the conditions and yummy snacks-he provided everything we needed, especially the poles and spikes. I will definitely recommend this tour for anyone wanting a hike that allows you to see the canyon without too much difficulty.

This was the most amazing hike! The views were unbelievable. Jon was the best tour guide, not only knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon and hiking, but also providing everything you can possibly need for the hike. You bring yourselves and he brings everything else. Backpacks, poles, water, snacks and lunch. He really has thought of everything. He also knew the best spots to take pictures and how to take the best pictures. I highly recommend him and in fact he should charge more for his services! If I ever come back this way, I am calling him!
