    I’d recommend starting with this tour so you learn all the secrets before hiking it.

    Fun and informational! Definitely worth it for an Introduction to the park, it’s history, and the flora and fauna. The truck is warm and there are plenty of blankets and waters.

    It was cold and rainy but we made the best of it! Patrick, our tourist guide was amazing! He taught us a lot about the grand canyon, the animals and plants that habitat there and the local community. He had a great sense of humor and made our experience so much fun 😁 The kiddos said that this was the best vacation ever so that's a big win 🥰 I highly recommend it!!!

    The guide Patrick was great and did his best to make a terrible weather day as good as possible. Because of previous snow and rain the day we were there we couldn’t see or do much but he was very entertaining and did his best to have us see as much of the canyon as possible.

    Our guide Werner made the best of the back roads being closed due to snow by showing us around some additional sights. The stops at the canyon rim were wonderful, with Werner giving us great information on the formation, history and personal accounts of being in the canyon.

    We had not been to the Canyon before. It was stunning. Overwhelmingly beautiful. We did not realize that the park itself has many places to stay. We only came for the 3 hour tour. Mistake. Should have planned to stay either in a hotel in the park or in Tusayan and take it all in for another day or two. Cara was an outstanding guide. She was pleasant and informative. We did not feel like we were on a schedule, even though I suspect she was! The vehicles are enclosed when the weather is cool, as it was for our tour. So we were able to warm up between times outside at viewing points.

    Sheila drive is through off roads partially and explained different settlements and traveling media available through the years . Stop at scenic views and her narrative was very detailed and funny at the same time . We enjoyed the guide and magnificent view points we stop at .

    Sheila was very knowledgeable and funny. The only part was we did not think of the cool temperature in the fall since the car is pretty much open air. Thanksfully, Sheila did prepare some blankets for us. That’s my fault. We took few cool pictures and learnt more about the local and history of Grand Canyon.

    My boyfriend and I decided we wanted to do a bit more than see The Grand Canyon from above, but I have had multiple surgeries and can’t hike much. So we decided to take this tour. It was great! Our guide, Werner, was funny, so knowledgeable, and lives in the area so he had many cool stories to share. We went in November 2022 in the afternoon so it got pretty chilly. I do recommend wearing layers and bringing winter gear: warm jacket, gloves, and a beanie because you do get out and walk around in multiple locations. He did have blankets which we used but I was not dressed appropriately and I was pretty cold. Also wear hiking shoes and if you have asthma make sure you bring an inhaler because it’s a high elevation for most people. In the colder months the part you sit in is covered with thick plastic windows that you can still see pretty well through. I’m sure it’s really amazing when it’s warmer though. We thoroughly recommend this tour and really liked our tour guide, Werner! Oh, Google Maps took us to the wrong location but the Maps App took us to the right place.

    We had such a great experience. Sheila was an amazing guide! Would definitely recommend doing the sunset tour. We were afraid there would be no sunset with how cloudy it was and she switched up the tour and took us to a location and we saw such an amazing sunset.
