I enjoyed the tour part learning about the history of the Blue Ridge Mountains. But we didn't get to see anything because each spot was covered in clouds. Weather was bad that day.

Awesome addition to the drive! *follow instructions and download the app prior to your trip - there is no cell crevice in the mountains.* Over 50 tidbits of information for overlooks and while driving. Really brought the history of the region to life for us. Our rental car had GPS so we plugged our phone in and could see the driving rout through the monitor and hear the audio through the car speakers. Highly recommend adding this to your trip.
