A wonderful day trip from Guadalajara to artisan villages!
    Mark_I, Aug 2022
Luis was terrific. Great and safe driving, very informed about local culture and history of the towns we visited. I would highly recommend him and this or any tour.
    Awesome day!

Such an awesome day! Luis was my guide and he was so nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. I loved touring the small villages and seeing the handmade crafts. The lunch was also fantastic with a mariachi band. All around great day. Highly recommend this tour!
Tonala & Tlaquepaque gems of Jalisco.

My wife and I really enjoyed this private tour to Tonalá and Tlaquepaque. It was our first time visiting Tonalá. We took a stroll through the streets to the local Church, Museo De Ceramica and Galeria Bernabe among others. The highlight was visiting Galeria Bernabe, it was an eye-opining experience at this artisan place - it is a world renowned shop that creates works of arts. Highly recommend to visit this place and have the family discuss their heritage in art, process, awards and publications around the world. Tlaquepaque is an all time favorite of ours so getting re-acquainted with the town was awesome and learning more about the art galleries with Luis was awesome. Highly recommended tour!
Excellent day trip outside of Guadalajara

This is a fantastic day trip if you want to explore a couple of small towns outside of the city proper. Tour guide Luis is fluent in English and is extremely knowledgeable in the region's history and culture. The visit to Tonala especially was truly special and I'm glad to have the opportunity to see such authentic artistry in the region. Even in Tlaquepaque which is supposed to be more "touristy", you will NOT find any touristy concessions here. Everything is unique and authentically made in the region. It says a lot about the culture and the pride of the people there!
Louis made our trip so pleasurable...

Louis made our trip so pleasurable and interesting with his intelligence, fluency with English, historical and political knowledge of Mexico. Louis takes only three people on a tour. Our tour day consisted of just my wife and self. All of his tours are extremely personal and more than worth the money. Pat and Carole Kelso
This was just about the perfect...

This was just about the perfect private excursion to take while in the area. Our guide easily was able to adjust to unexpected changes, like anticipated stops that happened to be closed for uncontrollable reasons, and add sites the closely matched our unique interests. She was a wealth of information from historic to cultural, and even personal. She was even able to question what we had already seen and to make recommendations of things to see in our remaining time in the area. This completely enjoyable day gave us a great overview of the artist communities just a short hop from the main tourist sites of the downtown area.

Our tour guide was excellent...friendly, a wealth of knowledge, well educated, well travelled. He knew exactly which businesses/retail shops to stop at that would be of interest to us.
LILLY and Luis were truly a delight...

LILLY and Luis were truly a delight! Both my wife and I felt like we were with old friends giving us a personal tour of their hometown. Whether in Spanish or English, we were able to speak to them with no problems. The places we went to were very nice. LILLY was very quick to pick up on our likes and adjusted the itinerary appropriately. Very sad to see the day with them end. Planning to return. Hopefully we can get them again.Wish I could rate them higher!!
