Overview

Hop in a rigid inflatable boat (RIB) to discover the nature around the Westman Islands. Offering an up-close alternative to a big boat tour, the experience gives you a more intimate look at the puffin colonies, secluded coves, and sea caves for which the rugged islands are known. Numbers are capped at just six people on board.

    Beautiful Scenery & Kind Guide

    Would highly recommend this tour! While our tour was unfortunately cancelled due to weather, the owner & guide, Haraldur, wanted to ensure that my husband and I still got to see the puffins. He went out of his way to drive us to the puffin roosting area on the south side of the island. Haraldur was very kind to us & shared valuable information about Heimaey and it’s human and animal inhabitants. Thank you very much for the hospitality & memorable experience! Hoping to join your tour again when we return!

    We have a fantastic tour in August. Guide was very informative and made the tour so much fun. Up close to puffins and sea birds with a small group. Would highly recommend!

    After going to 4 other locations that were wrong I found the right RIB tour. (Viator gave me the wrong address and I was ready to give up.) I am so glad I found it. This was FABULOUS!! Halle and Irene (father and daughter) are an incredible team. The weather was not pleasant and cold and rainy and windy with very low visibility, but we were warm in the “survivor suit” they provided and the sights were absolutely unique and special and a highlight. We felt safe and comfortable despite the bad weather. We booked a 1 hour RIB tour, but they took us out for almost 2 hours. The finale was special. We loved every moment. They were so helpful and enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I cannot recommend them enough. LOCATION: Please note they are located in a shipping container across the street from the Sea Life Trust Aquarium.

    We very much enjoyed our tour! It is a locally owned company with extremely experienced guides. Couldn’t have been a more exciting boat tour with lots of information about the island and the history of it. We have travelled all over the world doing tours and Harald (probably not spelling that right) was was one of the most knowledgeable and enjoyable guides we’ve ever had. We also saw lots of puffins and got to see the small neighboring islands. Great experience!

    Tolle Tour mit guter Vorbereitung - jedermann erhält einen Anzug zum Warmhalten auf 'See' sowie eine LIFE West. Auf der Fahrt erhielten wir zahlreiche interessante Infos und besuchten verschiedene Höhlen, Inselchen und Fels Formationen. Ein absolut lohnender Trip!! Vielen Dank!!!
