This was a great hike. And Arlene was the best. Highly recommend this hike for a small outdoor adventure. It’s just a couple of hours and the hike was easy. We have been to Oahu several times and never knew of this beautiful place. So glad that we booked this

No lookout point so overpriced tour
Minty_B, Sep 2023
The hike was really nice but we weren’t taken to a lookout point as was advertised here. The hike ended earlier than I expected . I messaged the tour provider informing that we did not get taken to a lookout point and requested a partial refund, and they told me we did just before the hike even though we were taken straight to the fall after pick up. I felt the price was reasonable because of the lookout point but since we weren’t taken there I find this tour to be way overpriced sadly
It was great to connect...

It was great to connect with nature! Away from the crowds in the city . The tour guide was knowledgeable , patient and encouraged me to take my time and enjoy . Peaceful

A must see!

Beautiful nature trail. A bit more challenging than expected but tour guide made me feel like I could do anything, and I did! Felt confident and accomplished! Sergay(?) was very knowledgeable and took away more information about the island than expected. 500 stars 😃
Great hike but muddy.
Nancy_B, Jun 2023
Really pretty hike; very humid. The trail was very muddy so keep that in mind when picking your shoes. Trail guide was wearing sandals - saw a lot of people with sandals. We had sneakers on which was great - but they got very muddy.
Only one waterfall but very nice tour

Our tour guide was Hema with Karma tours. She called us when she was outside of our hotel so we could meet her at the corner. She was very nice and provided a great tour of a lookout point and Moana falls. Unfortunately there was only one waterfall and long hike to get there but it was really nice. It went by pretty quick and you have to watch where you walk so you can't really enjoy the surroundings but we made several stops for photo ops.
Great tour

Our guide Hema was great!!! She was always helpful to take pictures of her guests along the way. Very informative!
Beautiful Nature in All Its Forms
Sheryl_K, Apr 2023
This was one of my favorite tours. The scenery was beautiful and filled with bird songs. The falls are gorgeous, but you can’t see it splash into the pond for all the people in the way. Our guide went with us and pointed out many trees & flowers. We even saw a mongoose. The only bad thing is the Parks Dept doesn’t enforce their rules to stay far from the fall’s pool. People from all over are often selfish and inconsiderate of others. It was impossible to get a picture without people in the way where they weren’t supposed to be! The hike itself was steep in 3 places and part of the trail had very loose rocks that were slippery, making the downhill more dangerous. All in all I had a great day with another family (I went solo) and our tour guide, Hema. One couple treated me like part of their family. I bought a quart of organic Hawaiian honey and a rooster print, since we’re entertained by a rooster doing a mating dance; the hen walked away.
Great adventure!

Our tour guide was amazing, very positive, and upbeat. Hemmie I recall was her name. She was a great photographer too! A beautiful woman with a wonderful personality. The whole trip was fun. She is a gem.

The hike is not too bad. There are some incline, rocks, mud, and slippery spots. The tropical views are spectacular!

Excellent guide and excellent experience. However too low value for money: this trip was quite doable by own means.
Wonderful views!

Wonderful views! My tour guide was very knowledgeable. If you love hiking this is a must do while vacationing in Hawaii.
Gorgeous waterfall, easy hike
Tabitha_S, Dec 2022
Arleen was the best tour guide! She knew all the great spots to take pictures and was very knowledgeable about the wildlife around us. The hike was great, alittle tricky with the rain, but we just took it easy. The views were gorgeous and the waterfall was beautiful with great photo opportunities!
Get your hiking boots ready!!

Robert was great!! He was knowledgeable, patient, and professional. We had a great time!! We learned so much!!
Great hike, good views, nice tour guide.

I like this tour/ hike. I was picked up at my hotel by Sergei (I think thats his name 😆) and he gave us the history of Hawaii and it was very informative, and he is very knowledgeable about the island. He took us to puu ualakaa look out and he got a history lesson there along with some great pictures. Then he took us to to Manoa falls and it was about a 20-minute hike or 30 because we would stop for small talk and history. The hike itself wasn't hard, I wore vans sneakers, and it worked out fine. I do recommend hiking boots though because the trail is rough at times and is slippery. I'LL be back next year.
Be sure you are able to hike up and down rocky trails before reserving.

Lack of accurate trail description & amenities, 5 walking sticks for 13 people, no shave ice/dole whip stop at the end (truck with substandard shave ice happened to be there).
