Fantastic and unforgettable

That was a wonderful experience. I was late and don’t know where to park the lady driver was So nice she helped me park where it’s free And waited for me. The tour gentleman is knowledgeable and entertaining. The weather was just perfect yesterday for me. It was an awesome experience. I would love to do it again when the weather is cooler and I wanted to sit in the front so I can take beautiful photos of downtown houston

Houston is a beautiful city. Fascinated with the various murals. Ben was a great tour guide and gave so much history on he city and state of Texas. The tour was great. Just wished they provide an air conditioned bus as well.

I appreciated learning about the history of Houston. I think more information about why Galveston was so prosperous should have been mentioned. Galveston was to the largest port for Slave trade. Juneteenth was started in Galveston. Tell the good and the bad.

When I'm in a new city, I usually try to take a hop-on hop-off city tour which allows me to see things and choose what to come back to. This is not a hop-on, hop-off style; it's a bus tour - and basically a bus tour of downtown. There was one rest stop for five minutes. The focus seemed to be on the public artwork, and the downtown theatres and sports venues (but not either NRG Stadium or the old Astrodome, which aren't downtown). We weren't advised of many attractions tourists might want to see, other than the city park and the aquarium. For instance, we were not taken to Hermann Park, which has the zoo, and we weren't taken to Houston's Museum District (apparently close to Hermann Park). The staff person who checked us in was aggressive to me as my wife and daughter were in the bathroom when we were checking in. The actual tour guide lost track of her script a couple of times.

We were a family of 8. Highlights were the sports area, the performing arts area and the architecture. Murals are the rage in every city in the US today so saw many many more than needed to. Felt given the heat that an enclosed van would have been better as we had in Dallas and Austin.

My friend and I decided to take the city tour in Mid July, temps were in the upper 90s. We so happy we did it is a great way to not only see the city but hear small tidbits about the history of the city and its progress. We could have driven or even walked by ourselves but we wouldn't have gained the knowledge we did. In addition, people were visiting from other cities and countries a great way to expand your group for a moment. The driver and tour guide was friendly and the bus comfortable.
