What To Expect

Cruise through the Snake River Range and the Gros Ventre Range in a comfortable, secure ride. The Tetons and Snake River views along the way are magnificent, so bring your camera—you may spot a moose wading in a back eddy or an osprey diving in the river beneath the snow-capped Tetons. The 13-Mile Scenic Float is a section that is west of the town of Jackson, nestled between the Grand Teton National Park and the Bridger Teton National Forest. Opportunities to spot an osprey diving in the river for a cutthroat trout are abound with the snow capped Tetons as your backdrop.

The Float was super fun. Not scary for the littles. We did have to laugh because we were told we would NOT get wet. Well… the one rain cloud changed that! Ben, our fabulous driver, had ponchos ready for us and Teton Jon kept us warm on the way back.

Not a good experience!!! Tour guide said only about 5 words the first 1.5 hours. My friend and I are elderly and they put us on a boat w/ 4 kids who jumped around, constantly talked, literally played musical chairs. Truthfully, just being kids so DON’T put elderly people in the same group. Towards the end, guide dipped the boat in a wave & I was totally soaked!! Pants, shirt & tennis were squishy wet. Froze the rest of the trip; had to return to hotel to change everything!! Won’t return to that company! Bus driver was great!

I did not want to do a white water trip so we choose this scenic float. Was not dissappointed. Our guide Rob, I believe was his name was lots of fun and showed us a good time. It was very relaxing. We did see 1 moose, and a slew of eagles. The 3 hours was sufficient, I believe would have been a little boring and tiring if it were more than that. We also only had 5 on our boat which was great, more would have been a little too croweded.

This trip was a complete delight! Parker was our guide and was very engaging with everyone and humorous! We all had a wonderful time seeing bald eagles, birds and voted to go down a path on the river that was slightly different than the norm. Beautiful scenery and wildlife with a competent guide. Loads of fun and highly recommend.

The trip was enjoyable and the view was very nice. Our guide was great. We did see some eagles and other birds but not much in the way of big game. The cost was a bit higher than I would have liked to pay, but that’s everything I guess in Joe Bidens America.

Our float guide Ryan was super friendly and kind. He let our kids take turns rowing the float, which was a hit for them! Just wish this trip was further north in the Tetons rather than further south on the Snake River.

There really wasn’t much about this trip that was enjoyable. We were not in the most scenic part of the Tetons and there was very little wildlife and the family that was in our boat was annoying ( I realize you can’t control either of those last two comments)

Had a wonderful experience with our guide Vlad. We saw marmots, 23 bald eagles, deer, mergansers, geese and some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable. Vlad was very knowledgeable about the animals, the area and rafting. This was a great way to experience the area.
