Subject to favorable weather conditions. 100% refund for cancellations 24+hours prior to tour time. If we cancel your tour due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund. We do not cancel for light rain, unless the outdoor temperature is 50* or below, so if you'd like to bring a poncho, please do!

We definitely recommend sunblock! Bug spray during the summer is helpful. You may also want to bring a change of clothes or wear swimwear.
Kayakers must be willing to step in approximately six inches of water to enter and exit the kayak.
Recommended for ages 4 years old and up. Children under 12 must ride in a tandem kayak with an adult.
Not recommended for serious medical conditions.
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 24 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

So much fun. Barney, our guide told us a lot of history of the waterway and the ecosystem around it. If you just want usage of a kayak, without the guide, that is possible also. We like the guides for this because they know so many interesting things about the area and that is what brings to life the tour.

A kayak outing on a clear, sunny, warm day is perfect for an afternoon outing. I recommend water shoes, rather than trainers. Bring a hat and sunscreen and a waterproof bag for your phone/camera. They give you a water bottle and a snack at the end (even a Gluten-Free one!) We saw an alligator and some turtles, and the trees and water were gorgeous. The others on our tour were friendly and that makes a difference. Shout out to our guide, James, for being helpful and experienced and letting us paddle a bit on our own.

My daughter and I learned some things on our tour—like how tannic acid affects the color of the water snd that alligators like the small one we saw on the trip are non-aggressive. It was a fun and informative out-and-back river trip.

Had a great time kayaking! It was a beautiful trip. Not too challenging but did feel like a little bit of a workout. Definitely need to put on sunscreen beforehand since it’s mostly in the sun. Also, your legs will get wet so keep that in mind when getting dressed!

New Exciting Adventures!!!

My daughters and I decided to do something new and exciting for one of their birthdays. So as first time kayakers, we were very nervous. The guides were very helpful and patient with us as we learned very quickly not to lean to far to one side. Lol . As soon as we were focused and ventured on, we saw how beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing it was. We had a wonderful time. Thanks again to our guides, very friendly, very skilled, and most of all very patient! We can’t wait to go again!!!
