We are located in the Port Allen Marina Center, on the Island of Kauai. Head West on HWY 50. Turn left at McDonald's (JCT 541 Waialo Rd.) Look for Kauai Sea Tours on your right. Continue to the end of the complex, turn right and we are the 3rd lot on your left! Proceed to the office to check-in.

What To Expect

Make your way to the Port Allen harbor 30 minutes before your scheduled whale watch cruise. Departure times at 1:45pm and 4:15pm available to suit your schedule.

Step on to the catamaran and enjoy assorted pupu platter appetizers, wine, beer, and Mai Tais. Listen to your captain talk about whale biology and behavior while keeping watch for tail slaps, blows, and breaches. Watch the scenery on the south coast of Kauai glide by and be sure to take plenty of photos.

How can you not enjoy a day on the water in Kauai, just beautiful! The crew, they were awesome!! Had a great sense of humor, told jokes, just kicked it like friends would. They were SOOO accommodating, helpful to my 8 year old and made it super fun for her too! They were extremely attentive, ready with drinks whenever, we couldn’t have asked for a better time. If you’re on the fence, just do it already and you will thank yourself, and the dope crew!! Captain Nono (Not his Hawaiian name) Cadence, and A-Aron(Sorry Aaron blame Nono)!!

It is a pretty wild ride, a bit like a carnival ride, but not too scary for the kids aboard. Even though it was the end of whale season, we saw a number of whales. I loved that the seats had a canopy above to block the sun. You will get wet, especially if you sit near the edge. We passed on the complimentary beverages because it was a bumpy ride, but the chips were good. Captain Jake and his crew were very nice!

The captain got us on a few different groups of whales. Everyone was very kind and knowledgeable. I’m prone to motion sickness but I took two Dramamine and did not feel sick on the boat. The ocean was moving more than I expected but the boat handled it well. Would definitely recommend this tour!

HIGHLY recommend this tour! The crew was awesome. It was such a fun time with great drinks, laughs, and music. We were lucky enough to see a pod of spinner dolphins and humpback whales including a calf. As we came into the bay we also saw a sea turtle.

Cancelled the trip after asking so many forms to complete and having as wait around for an hour. Sailing crew docked the boat, came to the shop, and after all that had all of us waiting just to cancel. We waisted an entire day driving to and from this place. Returning the fee is not enough, wasting our time should be reimbursed!!! I get it that your boat has mechanical problems but compensate people for totally wasting their time.

Very rough water. Heavy rain. No snacks provided, only alcohol. Tour was less than one hour due to weather. However, crew was very nice and attentive and we did see some whales.

This trip was awesome! Captain Nono and the crew (Kama and Landon)did a great job keeping us safe and entertained. They were also bound and determined to find whales, and we sure did! We saw several whales, including a baby and even saw a breach! Highly recommend, such a good experience!

Jan 23 Our trip was fantastic! We saw maybe 20 whales (or kept seeing the same ones, who knows). We saw a whale breach and the absolute best sighting had to be the whale that rolled and waved it's flipper in the air - it was like he/she was waving right at us! The captain and crew (Jacob and Josh) made an awesome team and did a great job serving us snacks and drinks and most importantly find some whales for all of us! There was so much to see we even stayed out longer than the 2 hours and were treated to a sunset cruise on the way back! Thank you it was a great way to finish out our vacation in Kauai!
