    A wonderful, scenic day out.
    Karen_E, Mar 2023
Despite poor weather Cole’s team were all brilliant, making sure everyone on the boat were comfortable and had a great time, with informative commentary from the captain the whole way. The food and drinks were really good and plentiful. The breakfast pastries were especially delicious! It was a magnificent tour run efficiently to time. We saw the incredible coastline up close and found many whales and spinner dolphins. The snorkelling was over a big drop-off out into the blue and the vis was forever. Saw a reef shark and a big turtle, and many fish. A great trip. Mahalo!
    Once in a lifetime

Momma and baby Humpback were nearby when we were snorkeling. You could here them when we were in the water. The Napali cost was beautiful. The crew was right there to help with anything we needed.
    Trip of a lifetime!

The crew seemed genuinely interested in making every experience as memorable as possible. We were incredibly well taken care of, which made our multiple sightings of jumping whales and huge pods of dolphins all the more breathtaking.
Excellent Trip and Team - Safety comes first
    Maggie_L, Jan 2023
We went there on Jan 2023. The crews and captain are excellent. Most of the experiences are excellent. These include : The captain knows where the dolphins are. Almost 30-50 of them swimming around us, just beside us. Fantastic. So many whales elegantly swimming and waving their tails around us. Maybe 20 to 30?? The day we went, the sea was calm. We went straight to Ni'ihau. The captain has excellent skills in getting the boat close to the coastline so that we can have an impactful view of the landscape. When we reached Napoli, the captain also moved very slow and close so that we can have a good glimpse of the coast. Excellent captain, The team has very good knowledge about the sea and wind. They selected a spot that was good for snorkeling. A relatively calm spot that was surrounded by strong currents. They gave clear instructions to the swimming direction in order to keep safe in the spot where strong currents were surrounding. The snorkeling was beautiful. Hundreds of beautiful fishes just below you. The sea was clear and blue. The reason why I give "1" to the trip is due to safely reason. Maybe it was because it was winter, despite the wind was very calm, the currents can be very strong occasionally. Most of my snorkeling time, we were fine. Inside the sea, during snorkeling, the currents were good. However at the later session, the currents get stronger. More people needed help. Especially there were some older people. There were only 3 people as safety and supporting staffs. When I tried to get back to the ship, the currents were so strong that they bumped me strongly onto the staircase. They hurt my ribs so badly. I hope they were not broken. I still need to take X-ray. It is like strong currents driving you onto the rocks, which can be very dangerous. The currents are so strong that I have to hold on tightly to prevent being wiped into the bottom of the ship. There was no crew to help, as they were so busy with other stuffs. When I finally managed to climb onto the staircase, which was sandy and rough to prevent slippery, I can only get onto it by knees, as the currents are too strong. Then the currents droved me back and forth on the sandy staircase. My legs get cut at least in 3 places. My conclusion is that, the team is so good. However maybe too aggressive to have snorkeling activities in winter. They want to keep customer happy. However to me, safety is the priority. In this kind of environment, maybe more staffs are needed. I feel so bad that I write such a comment for the trip. As the team is excellent. However I hope that they can look into more safety issue. Actually my partner almost got drown. Primarily it was her fault. She is not a good swimmer and she got scared. When she was holding onto the rope, waiting for help, so many people waiting for other supports. She said that she almost got wiped into the bottom of the ship by the strong currents. It was her fault. However there may be so many clients similar to her. The crews may need to consider these kind of scenario in their risk management also. The crews were to kind to entertain everyone. Therefore they didn't stop her when they knew she is not a good swimmer. They initially wanted to take her down hand in hand by themselves. (They have very good service, wanting everyone to by happy. ) However at the end, they didn't have time, as so many people needed help. So they just asked her to try herself. My conclusion is that, if they have better risk management planning, it is a company that I highly recommended. I joined this company for sunset trip. Also excellent. My purpose of writing all these is to ensure everyone can enjoy the service from this excellent company in a safe manner.
    Napali Coast plus Circumnavigation
    Richard_E, Jan 2023
The Napoli Coast views were amazing. After that we circumnavigated Kauai which was an extra treat. That was done in lieu of going to Niihau.
Fantastic tour along the Napali coast and snorkeling at Ni’ihau!
    Stephanie_M, Dec 2022
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and we own a catamaran. But to be able to see the entire Napali coast is magical. On the island of Kaua’i you are not able to explore every inch on foot, horseback or car, so this tour gives a wonderful, up-close view of this magnificent coastline. Note, anyone who gets a hint of sea sickness, take the meds before your voyage as on the way home it gets pretty choppy and there were a few folks regretting not taking precautions prior to the trip. But we highly recommend this tour, and the crew and captain were all fantastic!
    Amazing adventure

Great views and food! The boat was spacious and beautiful as well. We were able to see whales and dolphins on our tour
    Expect to be seasick
    Tara_A, Nov 2022
The good: the crew, the snorkeling and the views The bad: this boat is not well designed for this excursion through very rough open water. There is not enough fresh air seating to accommodate the number of guests. The sea is so choppy, the crew EXPECTS many people to be seasick. They advise people not to sit inside the cabin (you are required to sit, no standing), but there are only 2 benches for seating in fresh air. At least half of our boat were actively vomiting throughout the 7 hour trip. It was miserable. The crew admits this is common. If you have ANY propensity for sea sickness, DO NOT GO on this trip. I’m so disappointed that i couldn’t enjoy it and spent all day praying for land.

Didn't get to Niihau, or do much snorkeling due to weather. We did get to see lots of sea turtles and dolphins and even a lonesome seal. Captain and crew were great!
    The best tour!
    Angela_P, Oct 2022
Crew was fantastic! We didn’t get to Ni’ihau due to weather but the team found another spot to snorkel! Smaller boat then other companies, but don’t let that stop you- they are the best!
    Truly amazing tour
    RichardV_G, Oct 2022
This trip was awesome! Captain Cole and crew Zoe, Jon, and Daniel made this a truly great day. Na Pali was so beautiful, we loved learning about the history. We got into a pod of spinner dolphins early at Lehua Rock that stuck around with us for a while. During the snorkel portion of the tour we saw monk seal, white tip reef sharks, a turtle, and countless varieties of reef fish. The food on the boat was much better than expected, as was the entertainment. The crew actually remembered everybody's names in our family and many other families! I highly recommend this tour! We will definitely your with Holo Holo charters again next time in Kauai!
    Honeymoon trip

We had a amazing trip, but if you get motion sickness this is not the trip for you. I threw up, but still had a great time. The crew was very accommodating and helpful. Drink and food were tasty. Great snorkeling experience and we even saw dolphins and seals.

Great trip. The staff and captain went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. Loved seeing the spinner dolphins and manta ray.
Voted Best Tour for a reason
    Craig_M, Sep 2022
Fantastic, informative and sometimes “adventurous” experience on the ocean. Captain and crew were accommodating, attentive and approachable (3 A’s of excellent service). Their service is what you get at most fine dining restaurants and was only matched by the views of the Na Pali coast and the snorkeling at Lehua Island. As a person who really appreciates good service, I would do this tour gain just to ride with crew…the views and experience would be a bonus

    10/10!
    lindseyibarber, Sep 2022
There are a lot of options to book a boat tour of the Nā Pali coast but we are so glad we chose this one. Everyone on board from the captain to the crew were warm, welcoming and personable. The views were amazing, the snorkeling and wildlife were awesome and the food was delicious. 10/10 would recommend!
    Tropical paradise
    Lauren_O, Sep 2022
Highlight of the trip! The water was the clearest and bluest I’ve ever seen. Thousands of fish in every direction.
    Great experience!

My wife and I really enjoyed this excursion. The crew was great! Everything is as advertised. Highly recommend.
Fun Tour, could use more snorkeling.
    Juan_B, Sep 2022
Wonderful day out! We started in the early AM and departed shortly after checking in. The crew was very friendly and helpful. The food was great and the history lesson was awesome too. What was a bit surprising was the lack of snorkeling in this tour. We had a 1-hour stop off point off of the coast of Na Pali. The spot was gorgeous but I thought this tour would have included more locations and opportunities to be in the water. It was very "tour" oriented. That being said, I may do this again in the future. Note: The sea was VERY choppy with large swells on the way back. Bring a dry bag for towels but prepared to be wet for the majority of the time. If you are prone to sea sickness (like me) start Dramamine doses the prior night and all the way before the trip. This helped keep nausea at bay.
