What To Expect

You can customize this private tour to see the parts of Kauai you most want to explore. Your friendly local guide will pick you up at your hotel in either a luxury van or an SUV.

Choose from a tour of the island’s North and East Shores or the South and West Shores. From there, your guide will tailor the specific itinerary based on your interests and provide interesting commentary on the sites you visit.

On the North and East tour, visit tranquil white-sand beaches such as Kee, Anini, or Hanalei Bay, or explore the Waikapalae caves and spot Nounou Mountain as you pass the Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge. Then, stop by the Hauola Place of Refuge in Lydgate Park before you take in views of the Wailua and Opaeka'a Falls.

If you select the South and West tour, you'll discover the impressive Waimea Canyon and the beaches of Poipu. Admire panoramic views from the Hanapepe Valley Lookout of the filming location for Jurassic Park. Then, take a stroll through Fort Elizabeth State Park to see Captain Cook's Monument before exploring a local coffee company.

At the end of your half-day tour, you’ll be dropped off back at the door of your hotel with a new perspective of the enchanting Garden Island.

Amazing time!!!!!! Our guide Orlando was so kind and friendly!! He took us to a farmers market and bartered for us for fair prices and helped us pick out the best local fruits. We had a wonderful tour of South and West Kauai. Our tour guide/driver, Jack, was exceptional with his knowledge of Kauai and personable manner. The canyon was a highlight with Jack taking pictures of My husband, son, and myself with the incredible views of the canyon as a backdrop. We also enjoyed the coffee plantation and, of course, spouting horn was incredible. Learned a lot from Jack about the flora and fauna of this beautiful island. Well worth the time and money and pick-up and drop-off were perfect.

Beautiful Kaua’i

We were celebrating our 50th anniversary in the 50th State and Domi Ragsac made our day trip in Kaua’i memorable in every way. The Waimea Canyon was stunning. His serenading us on the pier with Somewhere Over the Rainbow and blessing us with the Hawaiian Wedding Song were simply beyond any expectation. We visited the Spouting Horn Park, enjoyed coffee tasting at a coffee plantation and stopped in the Huleia Valley before returning to the ship. Domi proudly claims his Hawaiian heritage and is a wealth of information about the history and development of the island. He gave us our Hawaiian names of tutu-man and tutu-lady. Our grandchildren loved it! The following morning, Domi’s final act of kindness was to return to the ship an umbrella left in his vehicle. Mahalo, Domi.
